it makes sense, but never the less I think each faction of the house should have it's own ID, each faction got it's own diplomacy, and for instance IC is friendly to some factions that rest of liberty companies are not, and that create a problem with the tech chart... highly annoying one.

That's not the point of the discussion, as far as I understand it.
The point is.. well

Freelancers getting a no-limit for their ID on cargo space. For the sake of fueling roleplay with granted permissions and everything. Which is dumb, because in-game you can't remove the limit on the ID card and at the same time keep track of who's allowed to have what.

Raising the bar is silly too, because some ships makes are faction-makes, so you'd still have to keep track of that manually. Which is highly inconvenient in the heat of the moment, when you could be blasted while, say, alt-tabbing..

And make em actually cost more than a normal barge... like 600mil or something, faction only?

Now theres some incentive to join factions and to learn how to RP:D

Rather expensive faction ships with much larger cargo hold might be an interesting new motivation. However, I believe you would be having this same argument down the road for precisely the same reason you are having it now. People want the best that they can get. If you got something better than they have, they want it. The green monster and there is really no way to get away from that besides making some rules.

The best short term solution might be to simply raise the trader ID restriction by 400, still no where near enough to buy the 5000 cargo hold ships but enough to allow them to buy larger transports with space to make their RP of being a successful freelancer with a booming trade company seem more realistic.
