To begin, the Nation of Bretonia is a Constitutional Monarchy, not an empire, nor is it an evil empire. Neither the Queen, nor the parliament, condones labor camps, nor acts of needless violence upon civilians. The House of Bretonia has never once perpetrated violence against its own civilians, nor those of another nation. Step back, and examine your own actions, before you throw stones through your glass walls.
I was born and raised inside the borders of such an 'Evil Empire' as you describe, one that allows for slavery and openly supports the oppression of half its free populace, if you could call them free. A nation where infanticide is an acceptable practice. Where, if you misunderstand such things in the same way as you do the size of the Sirius Sector, it is an acceptable and common practice to leave a child in a field to freeze to death overnight, or jettison her from an airlock. This same nation, who cannot feed its children, and does not grant its women equal rights, you have appealed to for aid, claiming that the Queen of Bretonia, who rules in name only, has not, as you claim, entered into plots and schemes to conquer Kusari, but instead is fighting to defend her own domain from a domineering Empire that seeks to rule the entire sector, while freely taking in refugees from that same land, regardless of their ailments. The Queen, who you call evil, and scheme to sell to the Kusari Emperor, has openly supported projects to clean her own worlds, to secure a cure from the cardamine addiction, which her own people are largely not afflicted by, to aid the cause of these same Kusari women, whose nation tries to destroy her own, while, at the same time, arranging for peacetalks, and a possible negotiation of you're own independence, just before you press a war you cannot win, and demand her execution? Look to your own when you seek lies, and you will find more than you can bear.
We have just recieved word that the Bretonian government has denied the terms set by the Union. Instead of even attempting to calm the situation, they have in turn resorted to name calling and belittlement. Fitting.
And how does your government explain the actions it has already admitted to in the Dublin system? How can you go from saying,"Sir Edmund used excessive and undiscriminating force" and that his actions where justified and "in response to riotous behaviour by miners" to denying they never happened? Your government had better get its story straight...
The Government of free Dublin and Londonerry will no londer debate the issue. Enough words have been spoken. The Galaxy knows where we stand. All of you know of our desperate battle to be free.
