With regard to my earlier post Prysin, I think we are suggesting the same thing regarding cargo (commodities) as to equipment.

The important bit being the first line. If the idiot pirate looks at your cargo, the crew won't be there so no worries there. Plus, in order to undock in his ship, he would have had to buy some himself....

As to Michails post, please be aware of that little guy sitting in the front of your light fighter at the controls. You know. The pilot. He is crew. Married or not :D.
The VHF could have for example a co-pilot so 2 crew (pilot and co-pilot).
The Bomber has a bombardier so 3 crew (Pilot, co-pilot and bombardier).
..and so on and so forth.

Yeah, but as I already said, the ID you have to mount is the pilot you drop after you're blown up:DSo there's no need for the 1 crew you can mount for your fighter (yes, even VHF will probably just need 1 ... technology manages a lot of things) because the pilot is already there (hidden in the ID):D
