Greetings my good friends, Hawk and the venerable members of the Congress

It's been a while since we spoke, and I must admit I have not seen you guys about too often. Times are tough, and I hope all is well with you.

I got a bit stifled in my office today, and felt the need to get my hands dirty and do some real work. I delivered a couple commodities around Liberty, and decided I will deliver you some engine components we had left over from our most recent construction on Baltimore. I am most certain you will find a use for these, and they are of top quality, as they were intended for a Luxury Liner.

However, I must bring a sour note upon this. As I approached your Rochester station, there was a Hacker Gunship vessel patrolling your station, registration 'Slanter'. He ordered a tax of 1 million, which I paid, as I wish for little dramas out near your space. I appreciate that pirates use your station, everyone needs a place to re-arm. My staff and I come and go with little interruption to the goings on there. However, I feel obliged to mention that I was pirated on your doorstep, and that it brings me to worry about our safety whilst dealing with your stations. I can handle losing some money, piracy is something we face everyday. But to lose out whilst delivering stuff that may end up in their hands anyway puts me at a loss.

I managed to salvage some of the conversation, however there was critical data in one footage and my ships anti-hacking safeguard corrupted the image. I can pass these images to you if you require them.

I expect nothing to be done, but I wish you to know that our gifts may dwindle if this is left to go on.

On a brighter note, Deep Space has a large project planned, and we require some of your folks knowledge and expertise in certain fields, and so wish to gather with members of the Congress who may be interested in contributing. I cannot divulge to much right now, but I would like to know if you folk are interested in a long term contract.

Thanks for the information. I will look into this incident. I don'€™t have much control over what these nefarious captains do to your ships in the far reaches of space, but I certainly don'€™t want it happening in our back yard. I'€™ll deal with it.
