Had some trouble today. Tried to buy the Osiris from Planet California Minor. First I tried it in my large train, I transfered my armor upgrade 7, advanced scanner, and nomad thruster, and sold all the Osiris' weapons (don't need them, don't want them), and then tried to take off. Got thrown off the server immediately.
Tried again, with same results.

Then I thought it might be because I was flying the large train, it is after all classified as a freighter like the Osiris, so bought the Defender and tried the same thing again. And got thrown off again.

Erhm, what's happening?

Well... I don't know Xit, either you've got wrong files or I too don't know what is going on. You could only get kicked for cheating if you bought exactly the same ship.

Maybe thruster is the reason? Battleships cannot equip them.

Y aknow, i will *NEVER* understand the concept behind battleship stripping.

the Orsiris weapons are designed for THAT ship.. why try to strip them?

only thing I can think of that would cause this is you stripped the ship. Some have had this issue before.

Apparently the problem is that I remove the weapons. I first tried buying the ship with no guns and no thrusters, and was kicked. Then I tried with only one weapon onboard and no thrusters, kicked again.

Finally I tried with all weapons and no thrusters, and I succeeded. :)

So apparently you have to buy the ship with all weapons onboard...

Oh, and the reason I bought the ship is simply to get my hands on the shields, nothing else. So I have no reason what so ever to keep the weapons. ;)

It's the same shield as any other BS, so why not buy the cheaper Liberty Dreadnought?

Well, actually I dropped a whole rank (or was it two?) buying the Osiris and whatnot. But I will quickly regain it. :D
