So, as you can see, this ship is indeed a light fighter for the Rogues and Mollies.
Now I'm wondering if it's possible to have this vessel as the "starting vessel" for any generic pirate, or in other words, to declare it open use to the pirate ID.
Pro:
CD slot (the open use Mule freighter does not have one)
it's hardly abusable due to its light fighter stats (yes, you can fight the CSV's and Starfliers of the newbies but they still have the ability to defend themselves)
cheap vessel to begin a pirating career with (without the need to ask permission)
easily recognized as a pirate ship
Con:
Liberty Rogues and Mollies have no authority over this ship anymore
only class 2 & 3 weapons without permission, so you have to ask for class 4 technology
Please discuss this - why and why not this light fighter can be open use to the Pirate ID!
Hell yea!
This is my favorite ship! Hyena, hound:D
:D:D:D
I have a lot of love to them, so much, so I ready to steal THOSE LFs.
They are rule, they are awesome, and I feel much better in it than in scim.
I used to fly it on my mollies characters, only because of !this! Ship!
Its really really awesome model.
I, even planning to make HD model and better textures for it:D
I vote YES to make bloodhound, or even better hyena to be avaliable for pirate id.
' Wrote:because the so called 'pirate' shipline is actually the rogue/molly one.
Of course, these vessels are Molly and Rogue stuff.
But probably everyone will identify this ship as a pirate craft when they see it in space! And it's not about the whole shipline, just the vanilla light fighter. It's just one single vessel that would be open to the Pirate ID. And as you can see in the stats for this ship, it's hardly a threat if it gets in the wrong hands, don't you agree?
There are 12 Bloodhound LFs currently on this server. Compare that to the 109 Werewolf VHFs! It's not as if the Bloodhound swarm will cover the sky above Manhattan ...
It can be a good start for someone who wants to play an (ordinary) pirate, which is harder if one has to take the Mule freighter (no CD etc.).
' Wrote:Back when I had authority over the LR, we and the MR were discussing making the Z line to open use, expect for the gunboat, bomber and dessie. In my eyes, noone has any jurisdiction over the Hyena/Bloodhound Wolfhound/Werewolf or the Greyhound. They are free to use just like the PTrain and the Mule/PTransport.
