Of course not, but you've bonuses for commodities, which faction IDs not have.

Just use the IMG ID and IFF they are welcomed in all of the houses
and miner IDs (generic) can't land on any miner base, which means that if pirate attacks them they are likely to die, since most of the bases near the mining zones belongs to the mining corporations.
