ID - Liberty Navy IFF - Liberty Navy Tag - [NG]
The National Guard. The largest reserve force of the Liberty Navy to this date. A variety of personnel from civilians, primary fleet potentials & secondary fleet men and women. Those who fail recruitment in the primary fleet, then get a chance to sharpen their skills and knowledge in the National Guard before re-trying for entry.
356 A.S
The National Guard was born with just under two hundred members in the first week. They were on planet Manhattan and acted as a support group for the army. Within fifty years, they had grown to over 10,000 members. The National Guard was recognized all over Liberty.
605 A.S
The National Guard ground forces were now all over every Liberty planet and station. They became flight born two years later and joined efforts with the Liberty Navy. It became as a major participant in defending Liberty air space and supply lines, military and civilian.
800 A.S
The National Guard was stationed on alert for two years during the Nomad War. However the National Guard was not officially informed of the Nomad threat, and was put on a leash by the government to capture and execute rogue Liberty Forces Personnel whilst re-maiming to up keep order and peace in the house.
817 A.S
The National Guard joined with the Navy and Security Force to wage war on the house of Rheinland and the number of civilians signing up each week quadrupled. Even to this date, National Guard personnel support the conflict in Texas defending it to the death.

The National Guard at this present day is a major participant in Liberty's war effort and homeland defense.
Fleet command consists of the three Admirals of each subsection in the Liberty Navy except Logistics. The four subsections are one, Strike Craft Command, being fighters & bombers. Two, Gunboat Command. Three, Capital Ship Command, Cruisers, being Battleships & Carriers. Four, Logistics Command, being freighters, transports & Liners. It is run as a consul, with each man/women in the Command having a say and vote on the National Guards fleet direction and matters. Fleet Admiral is the main in charge but his/her actions can be overturned by the consul and he/she will consult the consul on all matters first.
Strike Craft Command
[color=#FFFFFF]The first and largest subsection in the National Guard. It has all the ships from light fighters to bombers. They run patrols, reconnaissance, first strike attacks and support roles for the larger vessels in the fleets. Naming Convention: [NG]-Full.Name
[color=#FFFFFF]For fresh gunboat crews, they are the meat shields of the National Guard. They protect the capital ships and support with much needed firepower and armor, the sub crafts. Naming Convention: [NG]-LNG-Name
The 3rd| Assault gunboat wing is the specialist group in the Gunboat fleet, they test the best gunboat captains and those worthy can wear the Assault tag. Being in the Assault wing is a privilege and shows your ability in the field. Naming Convention: [NG]-Assault-#1

Capital Ship Command
[color=#FFFFFF]The biggest ships in the National Guard. They are the metal meat shields, they draw the heavy fire and dish out their own serving of hell. All capital ships that join the National Guard must fly one week untagged and prove their ability and professionalism before being judged and either accepted to wear the [NG] tag or if they fail judgement, they can leave the group and continue being an independent failure or try again for another week. Logistics Command
[color=#FFFFFF]The Logistic Fleet controls all non-combat freighters, transports, liners and repair ships. It is the most vital section of the National Guard when we have large scale deployments and constant re-supply to our personnel is necessary. The repair ships are a must-have in any large scale. There are NO ranks in the Logistic section, you are just a member. Naming Convention: [NG]-LLS-Title
All Commands have the same rank structure. Each Command's highest rank is Admiral. There is one Fleet Admiral who is in charge of all the command groups. Capital ship's start at Commander. Logistics has no rank structure and Strike Craft Command starts at Ensign. Any rank can fly any ship in their Command.

For members who want to have a position in the [LN] official faction. They train and spend time in the Academy until we deem fit that they can go into the [LN]. We will pass them straight to the [LN] with our blessing, and hopefully they can be promoted to a respectable position within the [LN] to save time.
They get helped with sorting their ships and getting the best gear. They get told all the hints and know-hows of Liberty and the Navy RP. We aim to turn those in the Academy into some of the finest. Trainers: Franklin Carr, J.Miller, TheEnglishman, Charos

[color=#99FFFF]The National Guard has got independent Liberty Navy Ships under one banner. It helps get each member to a sufficient quality and also has experts to assist in doing this. Other independent pilots join to find friendships, teamwork support and advice. We're a family, and we're here to make Liberty, a better quality place.
