The reason for the continued conflict, in her eyes, is down to humanity, the Nomads are on the defensive.
Then that is in her eyes. But from an oorp perspective, both are too be blamed equally.
I like bringing different idea's to the table when I RP a character as well.
I have three official faction characters now....
Saburo Konda, who, unlike most, doesnt carry a sword, was once a merc for GMG, and is young, impetuous, hot-headed. need to get his RP personality squared down - he comes off too often like a stock standard samurai when i play him *sigh*
Rojas is developing nicely. As an outcast, he see's himself a gentleman warrior - he doesnt pirate, he isnt belligerent - he's respectful, even courteous, to his enemies, and is not in any way ashamed of who he is, or who his people are. Regardless, he'd skin a corsair and laugh about it - it's a blend of honorable dignity, and genuine heartless killer. And that I like.
He's also italian, instead of spanish. But thats minor.
As for my third, my OSI Captain, i played with the idea that maybe being a zoner is by a choice you didnt want to make? Like having to escape your home on the ground in hopes of escaping the bad memories of losing a wife and son to a bitter divorce. So far, he's developing.

I have to add that I love characters like this. I've tried to achieve the same with my own Cassandra-Marie Dominique, although she's dealing from the other side of the table as a Corsair. I hate seeing pirates who'll slaughter a transport full of thousands of people just "for fun", and always wanted my own to be much more realistic and/or humane. She'll pirate, sure, but out of necessity (or to strike at an enemy) as opposed to playing the generic "badass". She favors efficiency over flair, if that makes any sense. Although of course, she holds a special place beneath her boot for Outcasts and their kin.
Actually... I have to commend you on most of your characters. Unfortunately I haven't been able to play on the server since you've been around, but from what I've read of yours on the forums and wiki I quite enjoy. My first character here was Vale Waters, a Bretonian-born freelance, whom I intentionally assigned a phenomenally mundane and generic back story with the intention to allow him to develop freely in whatever way presented itself. Unfortunately I struggled to keep interest in him as decent RP encounters were pretty rare, but I'd like to think he would've turned out similar to Dane had I spent more time with him. To be honest though, that'd be flattering myself. Keep up the good work.
