If its allowed to post ships done by a piece of paper and a pencil here is.

It is a battleship (sorry don't know which faction to put it under yet)

probably either spa and cruise or a bounty hunter battleship.

Problem is someone is gonna have to make this from only this artwork image i have to add it into the game.

It should have the texture of a luxury liner.


Judicator (1A-BFH)

Ship class- battleship/ frigate hybrid
armament- 6 turrets, 2 missile turrets, 1 torpedo tube, 1 forward gun
Size- the size of a liberty dreadnought with 2 rhinos strapped to the side.
notes- Between the 2 side engines should be a circular pieces that shows that the engines can pivot on a 360 degree circle(yet it shouldn't in game). The engine color should be blue.


Bio- The Judicator 1A-BFH is being built by an unknown company (we are currenty loading the list) at a secret shipyard in Alaska. The twin side engines only pivot during planet landing or slight manuvers. Metroid got it commisioned and is the designer of this beauty. The forward gun is a larger version of the razor and the forward gun from the liberty cruiser. Currently this ship is not in mass production and is still under cunstruction.

If I could get a crash course in how to import and export designs from MilkShape 3D I'd like to contribute.

I've got ideas for the generic ID's. Since there have been a few issues with generic ID's on faction ships, I'd like to design specifically for those ID's. These ships would be available predominantly at Zoner and Junker bases ... so there would be no issue as to "being friendly with the Corsairs to get it" issues.

Here's some ideas for generic ships:

For the Pirate ID: Sold by Junkers ... 3 gunboats to choose from
1. Pirate Heavy Gunboat (slightly more firepower and armor than Rogue GB ... sold at Bornholm Depot in Omega 15)
2. Pirate Medium Gunboat (same firepower and armor as Rogue GB ... sold at Yanagi Depot in Sigma 13)
3. Pirate Light Gunboat (slightly less firepower and less armor as Rogue GB ... sold at Rochester Base in New York and Beaumont Base in Texas)
4. Pirate Fighter/Bomber (cross between a fighter and bomber ... sold at Bornholm Depot in Omega 15)

For the Mercenary ID: Sold by Zoners
1. Mercenary Gunboat (slightly more firepower and armor as Bounty Hunter Gunship ... sold at most outer rim Zoner bases)
2. Mercenary Fighter/Bomber (cross between a fighter and bomber ... sold at most outer rim Zoner bases)

For the Trader/Smuggler ID: Sold by Junkers and Zoners alike ... larger ships found further from Sirius center. These ships will have a cheaper look to them compared to the cleaner corporate trade vessels (for the more independent traders that can't afford much).
1. Refurbished Heavy Transport (4000 unit capacity)
2. Refurbished Transport (2500 unit capacity)
3. Refurbished Freighter (750 unit capacity)
4. Refurbished Light Freighter (250 unit capacity)

Ok--here is "BARGE" model in Milkshape with a Rheinland Battleship alongside for comparison:

The concept:

Well--the idea is to create a role play vessel for the following purposes--as well as others some might think of:
  1. Deep Surveillance Base
  2. Science Station
  3. Deep Mining Platform
  4. Mobile Depot
  5. Criminal Loot Storage for Resale
  6. Miner's Mobile Resell Point
  7. Long Term Storage for Limited Time Available Players
We were shooting for huge cargo--in light of size reductions and all, I'd say scale this down to (rough approximation):
  • 25k cargo
  • 500k hull
  • 500 mil Price
  • 800 nanobots
  • No Docking Planetary Docking Rings
  • Very Difficult to Align to Gate Lanes.
  • 10kps/5kps Impulse/Reverse Speed
  • No Shield
  • No Thruster
  • 59 sec Delay to Cruise Speed Activation
  • No Countermeasures
  • No CD/Torps
  • 4 x Gunboat Turrets
The idea behind it is that it is an "on station" ship--not moved often--slow and very difficult to maneuver, hard to dock and navigate. Hence the immense cargo hold. it is like a whaling ship--it goes out for months and captures, processes and stores its goods.

No shields means it requires on site repair and that gives role play to repair ships. The Lifter included on the model is a touch that lets someone run a "company" with Barges, Repair Ships and Lifters as their role play. Player who have limited play time could use this ship for a long, slow build up as they mine or salvage.

Criminal groups could loot npc shipping, store the good loot they can't dock and sell lawfully and then save and resell it to smugglers later--instead of selling on a criminal base and losing all the profit.

Role play possibilities are immense: Mining Company, Secret Base, Covert Espionage Base, Space Factory--you get the idea.

Its important that it not be worth the trouble of "trading" in so that it isn't abused.
