Also, actually, people who hunt Wildlife haulers tend to do it together with NLH and bring their transports to bring cuties home. Unofortunately, it all requires quite a time.
Also.

"DROP THE PEOPLE!"
"And let them die in the vacuum of space...?"
There is quite a huge difference. Slavers would be very, very sad if shipments of human cargo ceased, so they would not harass shippers without a clear reason (profit). Think of a hunter shooting an animal every now and then to feed his family.
Gaians, on the other hand, would be immensely happy if wildlife shipments ceased. So they will go an extra mile just to make the life of shippers miserable. Think of pest control ferfring a deratization.

[color=#FFFFFF]This already exists. We have quite a few transports that are more than willing to show up and tractor the wildlife then haul it to Islay. However, this is rarely done right away, since it takes time for a transport to react. Usually, a gunboat or a fighter or a bomber hunts for wildlife haulers, and a transport is at standby somewhere near to cruise in and pick up the wildlife once the hauler has dropped them or is dead, the latter being the more frequent case unfortunately. And also, it can be safely assumed the animals are picked up by Gaian transports (there are a few, don't worry) even when there's no NLH online, something of a ghost transport, or a small convoy of stolen clydesdales or fireflies... the possibilites are endless. Don't break your pretty little head with it any further, okay?
P.S. Don't refer to it as a Gaian bounty. It's an NLH bounty.
Sucks to be a weight on the wrong side of the brilliance-insanity scale.
Wow, I lost count how many times someone whimpered over this situation and made a thread of it. This situation can also be done with Slaves, Refugees, tourists etc...
To anyone collecting such bounties don`t worry about what the OP said. Unfortunately due to mechanics we are stuck with what we got. Shoot the transport, if the wildlife are sprinkled in space because you don`t have a transport, don`t worry an NPC transport will be on the way to pick em up shortly.
P.S. It`ll be invisible if you hang around to see it
I think you are trying to powergame with this thread Hone. I assume (and you can deny it all you want, I wont believe you) you have a ship that carries Gaian Wildlife or wants to, and you want to use a oorp rule discussion to make it easier for you to run them.
