So among the typical annoyances of today (lag) my courser kept locking during connie fights. It's be a long long time since I have had that issue but it's showing up again.

I wanna know if someone has experienced this before and was it solvable.

Thank you for you time,

Zigeris

Is your mouse running an own software and is there another new software running in the background?

The mouse is a plug in play. So if it has a software attached to it that is isolated from the typical processes I wouldn't know.

But I'll check if so that is a very vexing clause.

Does it use any drivers or something else that Windows Update might have broken?

If it's an optic mouse, check the sensor (red glowy light and the lens-shaped bulb at the bottom). Might be a tiny hair or a bit of dust that gets caught in front of the lens when you move it - that'll cause an optic mouse to no longer register movement.

If a ball mouse, take the ball out and clean the grime off of the three rollers.
