During one of my many procrastination sessions on TV Tropes and Idioms I came across a link to a Haruhi Suzumiya fanfic called 'Kyon: Big Damn Hero'. I'm only about ten chapters in but I'm enjoying it more than most of the actual novels I've read lately, and there are still almost forty more chapters for me to read.
If you're a fan of Haruhi Suzumiya and/or TV Tropes, give it a look; I can all but garuntee that you won't regret it.
Oh, and it's all PG despite what certain phrases in the blurb may lead you to believe.
