Some balance issues solved, Mafic turned into miner, not universal Killing machine, Junker Salvager became actually closer to a GB then a transport, encouraging Junkers to use their tech only, while power-traders keep all the risk to themselves by buying nearly defenseless trains.
8.33 buffed, making them more attractive to use. Too bad they got buffed too much, compared to other guns. They're actually the best guns now, that will pwn everything... With some re-balancing it should be great thing.
Freighters and light fighters fly faster on cruise, giving chances to make new strategies and ability to actually scout the region. Freighters are mostly used by newcommers and RP-wise are made for safer transportation of very important cargo via more dangerous routes (transports are slow and hard to defend in, while freighters are now barely catchable and a lot easier to defend in)
Nova can no longer be detonated by CDs, Torpedos or nuclear mines (needs 3 of those), which means no more Instakilling snubs in super heavy fighters like Recycler or Mjolnir (old school Nova+CD or in 4.85 Nova+CD+Nuce)
Technology megamixing nerfed. Needs a lot of remakes and rebalances, but the idea itself is great (4.85 - Skype->I want your tech->line on forums->deal; repeat until we have Mercs using Tizonas on Sabres and Odins or Galian Gunboats flown Sirius-wide). Although, this causes a lot of issues for tech sharing between allies - if that's fixed, megamix nerfing is great thing, giving actual technology owners right to use maximum capabilities of their own tech.
Two things I love about the new mod,
The Corvo is the most beautiful ship in sirius, no arguments, it just is.
The Cayman system is an acid trip, an amazing riot of colour, it has to be seen as long as the owners are ok with that of course.
