Rather stupid really.
They're alive now they should be countin' their lucky stars. Who cares what happened 1,000 years ago.
Really.
Other than that the storyline is fine, Liberty and Rhienland had a history of fighting, and the Kusari/Bretonia war was an interesting twist.
You are confusing reason for excuse. I understood from lore that issue about thousand years old betrayal is only excuse for sirius campaign, not the reason. Real reason is probably running out of resources and big army which dont have job when council is expelled. And from stragic view it make some sense, situation for conquere war is quite good and they can get valuable systems with minimum risk.

Cause in-game, it's almost funny (or almost sad if you want) to see a powerful House who doesn't attract players enough and in in-game activity there is NO BALANCE between Houses at all. So it would be interesting to NOT IGNORE what players actually do in-game in making a storyline.
I always laugh when I read that Order LOST BATTLE with Nomads and lost Omicron Minor. What? Lost battle with who? Nomads?:lol:Nomad fleet?:lol:WHAT Nomad fleet? Nomad fleet huge enough to win with Order fleet?:lol:I mean, you can write anything in storyline, anything what you want, but in-game Nomad fleet winning battle with Order fleet?
Sorry, it's ridiculous, that doesn't correspond to ANYTHING what Nomad and Order players do in-game.
But, that's just a point of view, of course.
I agree with that
Gallia storyline is not good at all. Normally if you have good power(big force) you will deal with your local problem first. If gallia have such a big force then why they are not after council? Why they are going to fight in taus leaving enemies in next system. I dont know anyone will do that kind of mistakes. That move is logically not good at all.
For the order how and when all those happens. Removing a faction from there well defended home is not a good storyline.
Yes its a game and you can do whatever you wish but it must be good logical and sane.

Yeah, if you read back a few posts Dab said the real reason which of course was conquest.
YOu guys are new ? Do you know how the event went? Order had no chance against the nomads... even with BHG at their side... Well protected? It has just a planet and a Battleship. Order not very powerful as Nomads. So the story is good.
Now....... Coming to gallian sides.... Council is not powerful not so powerful to be considered as a threat comparing to Sirian Houses. After knowing gallian intentions the houses could easily stand together if given time so gallian forces are ordered to move. Council was not ignored but as you said GRN is huge armada which can easily hold council while it fights houses one by one leaving no time for the sirus houses to act together.
It completely makes sense. Its like you are asking why fight with an country when you have criminals in your country JUST THINK of IT.
The storyline is not player driven. It doesn't mean it makes sense, or that it's a well written story, but it has nothing to do with the players' activity on the server.

Ohhh. So what you are saying you will not deal with those rebels first who takes 1/4 of your country but you go outside. Do you think its easy to move a big armada that consists of so many battleships is easy to move through astoroids and how exactly they come back if council make a desparate advance.
Well if you think that its good for you.
Im not opposing the order story im just saying thats its not right to kick some faction out of there home. From the vanilla to here nomads are destroyed faction(as much i know). You can arrange some raid but a nomad fleet taking out bhg core and order fleet destroy all feels bad for order.
I kind of regret to have written this topic, cause maybe it's bad timing.
I dont want to give our great Disco team even more headache then they already have from the bugs.
I have been thinking about it and it's more an isuue for future stories.
I do think that should be considered in a storyline what actual players do online.
Why? Well my main concern now is that the Gallic fleet, which is not so big, cannot occupy/defend there new huge terretory.
I even think they need about 10 times more ships(read active players) to do so.
So when the ships dont come.... (what i dont know yet ofcourse) it would leave us with several dead systems.
On the other hand i really admire the daring storyline that could shake things up severely.
So, maybe yust maybe it is going to work, but i am not too shure...
In the future i think it will be possible for players/factions to buils stations, destroy them or conquer halve of Sirius.
I am looking forward to it. Will that bring an incredible turmoil and commotion....
