Powerplant compatibilities with weapons

Alright, I've been reading here and there... about how certain weapons will not work on a differant faction's ship, due to a differant powercore.

Ex- a corsair ship cannot mount Outcast guns


Now if this is true.... can anyone confirm if it is possible for a Liberty Battle cruiser to mount and fire Order cruiser turrets?

It is. But expect your energy regen to be at 40%-60% energy efficiency. That means your core will regen only some % of energy that it can.

What we need is a power Percentage chart to replace the tech chart.

Issue is; we got confused with the tech chart. Will we grasp a power Percentage chart?

More of a, who decides on it? Since as stated, RP does not matter for rules, thus whatever you say, wont have effect. So have your equipment selfdestruct, compatible for only your ships and blabla, itll be still viable for others:D
