Hardware isn't the problem....it's a software issue, and this software is almost a decade old now, so....

Actually I read somewhere that the limit can be increased without too much of an effect on stability now. (was only about 50+ slots)

Gonna go try and dig that post up.

I think that we probably could increase it a little bit, maybe to 230-240 players. This should be okay.

The German host explodes at 260. Tested - both Test/Event server full and DiscoGC full. I heard that 4.86 is more stable server-wise so if we have luck we might get 20 slots more. However not the slots are the problem but the systems- it is hard to find someone to interact with- even with full server.

So yer saying, less systems for more players? More interaction and all that? (also more faction players, less indines, ninja.)
