I wonder, cos I'm unknowing, what the level of difficulty is in creating rp commodities?
For example the nomad artifact? Creating an equivilent rp-related "personalised" inventory item.
If I wanted to create an rp artifact for the purposes of an event, storyline or extended faction elelment, who would I have to bribe and how much would it cost?
It wouldnt need to be a marketable commodity: Simply a tradeable cargo item at the same level of say the discovery rules, nomad arty, or some equivilent.
It wouldn't even have to be sellable (zero value?) - only droppable/tractor-capable.
::::
The reason I ask is that eventually I would like to carry a "warriors bible" in my cargo: and be able to give it to others (which would require a spawning point obviously.. maybe a wreck?).
This is a long term "fancy" but Im curious regarding the practical implementation, and I'm afraid of asking before I really know whats required..
For a while people were utilizing glitches to get the precious roleplay cargo from missions - and then either sold it or used for the matters of diplomacy (both ways it was a result of 5 minutes of mindless work exchanged on the benefits of a sort).
Maybe there is something along those lines to satisfy your needs - like creating specific mission cargo that can be extracted from the mission itself via the glitch and then used for one's everyday means.
