Quote:Server Rule 5.9 Disconnecting from the server in a PvP fight to escape, as well as in any other situation that involves player interaction, is not allowed. If you lose server connection during a player interaction, you should get back in game quickly to continue the interaction, with the other player's permission. If that is not possible, then post on the forums and PM the players involved.
Consequences:
I searched the forums for a disconnected notice and could not find one. Some credits were removed from your ship and I left a receipt.
If you post in this sanction and are not directly involved or a leader of the accused person's faction be advised that you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban.
Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbours, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
Two pictures will say two thousand words. After only a minute, I logged back in and tried to continue the interaction waiting for the player who reported me. I said I'm sorry, I did wait for him to come back, but it was clear he didn't want to do an interaction. It is also evident that the player in question is even within ship's scanners. From the point where he was sceptical and didn't believe my story, it was clear he had other motives.
The money taken from me and the reputation damaged this has caused is disproportionate to what I have done. I'd like to ask you to review the evidence I present in my defense and give me amnesty.
In order to beat out an F1 sanction, you need to fulfill at least one of two requirements. First, try and get back in game as soon as possible and ask permission to continue the encounter. If that is not possible, then post a disconnected notice on the forums.
From the evidence you provided, you have shown that you fulfilled what you needed to do. The fact that your accuser rejected your attempt to continue the encounter is irrelevant. The fact that the accuser went ahead and filed a sanction report is malicious. The Admins will discuss what action, if any, we will take on that matter.
As far as you're concerned, this sanction is reversed, your credits will be reimbursed. I will add a little something for your inconvenience. Thank you for clearing up this matter and I hope your reputation will be restored.
Well i filed that report and i had no malicious intentions.
IMG| vessel asked for repeating of the encounter when he reached in close proximity to the Java Station you can see on his counter evidences that there is no navigation buoyis as it should be in the mining zone where encounter ocured in the first place.
In the meantime Council and HMS vessels arived near java it would be very stupid of me to ask now anything from IMG| ship in such a situation what ever i demand money cargo or anything else as a pirate he could esaily dock in java or i could be fired upon by that HMS or from a Council Battleship.
So from my point of view F1 used it's purpose there and our interaction was ruined since he reached safe distance that's why i decided to file a report.
Is he pressed F1 in purpose or acedently or he simply just losed conection that is something i do not know but he simply by doing it that changed the circumstances of the interaction and repeating it was simply imposible.
Therefor i'm still here for enforcing sanction of him, seems to me this is an advice to traders to training itself to do F1 change circumstances of interaction and than simply post as they asked to continue where they stoped.
I'm sory if you think this was malicious intent but i have no such a motives.
You failed to give us the full picture of what occurred. You only gave us enough details to get the person sanctioned. The fact that the person returned within a couple minutes and tried to continue the encounter are important details missing in your report.
The admins will look at all the details in this report and come to a decision.
