The dream had been very vivid. Dr. Mojo woke up sweaty and thirsty. He tried to keep his eyes closed to be able to remember all what She told him. It had been an urgent message for it concerned an urgent matter. The destined child. After imprinting the images, sounds, and odors into his brain, he grabbed his e-pad and wrote a draft of a message directed to all TAZ. A meeting between them all was needed to grind this channel into their pineals and puke it as a course of action. After that, he started writing all what he could remember to attach it to the message...
Quote:I woke up in a valley of a grassy world. All around me there were ropes with clothes hanging. Some were white, some where red, and some were made of pure gold. A furry rhinoceros (I knew it was one because I remember the old volumes on Earthly wildlife I once found at Sol) approached me. The fact that he was not wearing any clothes offended me in some way, so I did not fully trus him. He told me that I should leave the place immediately or something irreversible would happen. I liked the idea, and I didn't like the rhinoceros, so I asked him to go to the nearest corner to see if it had started to rain.
After he left me alone, I took off my own clothes and burned them in a little campfire that someone lit at some point. But I was alone, oddly. I started looking at the stars trying to understand where that world was, but they were all strange to me. It was after a while that the old lady arrived.
She was dressed in rags and carried a bag hanging from a wooden stick. She didn't say a word for a while. All she did was take the stick, then grab an apple from her bag, and pinch it on the stick. Then she would repeat the process, until no apples were left. After that, she put them over the fire for some minutes, and then offered one to me saying, would you like a Vivid Apple? I was confused, but I accepted the apple. It tasted like hot dogs (without the bun thingie), and that made me suspicious already, but by the time I had finished eating it, the true identity of that woman suddenly beame clear.
She was not more that ragged bum lady, but the omnipotent and omnipresent entity I had come to know long ago, and now worshipped, Eris, Goddess of Discord, Queen of Baffin, Keeper of the Sacred Chao. The aura that She irradiated was really powerful and the golden glow didn't allow me to focus on anything but her and what she started saying.
Behold! Ye ole Mojo! I know I always harrass you and command fool errands and trust you dangerous secrets! But oh little old fart, let me once again put a cosmological burden on that slacky back of yours! May your bag be always full of apples...
I am sure you have already noticed the chaos that runs through the Temporary Autonomous Zoners structure. The cause of this is needless to say, but the way to fix it is something that concerns us, and a lot. As you know, I announced, by telling Mal last year, that an Era had ended and we had to be prepared for Verwirrung. You must remember that fancy festival you all held at Baffin.
Well, there was one thing that the old man forgot to tell you bunch. There is a prophecy, made by a mad popess whose lover was beaheaded in front of her, which announces that Discordianism would face a difficult time around Verwirrung. She claimed that there were forces operating to dismantle what we had been building, and that we had to seek the protection of the Gi-Gi. At that time even I thought that she was mad, but after checking my calendar of prophecies I saw that she was right. What I didn't understand at that time was that Gi-Gi, as she said, really meant Golden Girl, the destiny child. This girl is to be found Mojo! I've been dedicating all my Godly power to scry the whereabouts of this child, who was born 13 years ago already. So far, I can tell you she lives among the Zoner community in Pennsylvania.
Please, do not fail on this or we will be all doomed sooner or later. We will, inevitably, eventually, but by doing this you can delay utter destruction of the Multiverse by saving the Keepers of the Chao, the Temporary Autonomous Zoners.
And after saying that she knocked me in the head with that stick, that felt more like a battle club, and I awoke to my chamber in Pueblo Bonito.
After sending the message to TAZ's comms, he started making the preparations to recieve them all on board the Fifth.
//This is the prologue of this RP story which is in itself a prelude of an event we TAZ are preparing for the near future, which will allow players who are foreign to TAZ to join the faction through an ongoing roleplay. TAZ recruitment is always open, this is just a way to give out application opportunities to those who wish to join in a special way. So for those interested, keep an eye over this thread and start thinking about your candidate's story!
Meanwhile, on the Trident of Eris, Xavier Triton was taking job applications for personnel assistants, going through a list and murmuring soft judgements...
"Too jolly, too ignorant, too....voluptuous?...Put her on the maybe pile"
Once the data-pad came to a stop on top of the slowly growing 'maybe pile' the communications terminal on the right side of Xavier's desk toned a new message.
Xavier peeked over the large applicants pile and farrowed his brow as he proceeded to access the new message.
The message originated from the ole' Dr. Mojo. It had been a while since a message from the Dr. had graced Xavier's desk and he was eager to indulge in it's contents.
The message came up on the screen and before Xavier could read the first word, his pineal amulet began vibrating violently.
"Hmm, seems the Goddess wants to me to pay more attention then usual...intriguing"
Some time later, Xavier, now finished with his perusing of the message, slumped back into his chair, both excited and equally terrified by what he had just read.
"Could it be true? The Golden Girl of destiny?"
The words had never been known to Xavier before but he could feel a certain sense of...kinship in their expression. As if they existed within him from the moment he could comprehend speech.
Xavier reached out and activated his communication console with zeal...
"Thomas, I need the Ticked Phoenix prepped for launch, I have some urgent business that needs to be addressed."
Thomas Mellows, Xavier's CO aboard the Trident of Eris responded in a surprised tone
"Are you OK Xavier? You sound a touch more...livid...than usual"
Xavier responded in a calmer tone
"I'm not angry, my friend. This is excitement...and terror....I cannot be certain whether it's one or both."
"OK then, well, I'll get the Phoenix prepped as you say. When can we expect you back? Just so I know what to tell the others" "Tell them that I'll be back as soon as Eris allows"
"Hmm...see you in a few weeks then?"
Xavier smirked and closed his communication console before briskly walking out of his office.
[TAZ]Chao's.Eyes, Somewhere in the infinite confines of Baffin space...
As per usual, the Chao's.Eyes endlessly monitered all traffic in and out of Baffin, while somewhere in the dark depths of this small but powerful ship, Professor Louis Carlisle was in his so-called "bubble" doing all sorts of experimentation and research, but mostly on the <strike>experimentation</strike> research part.
The Professor was fiddling with a strange device with a large mirror that depicts moving black and white lines. It was weird looking with two horns on top, which he was moving at all sorts of angles.
"Hmm............. Hmm? *ksssch* *ksszzzt* *pszzzzt* *weeooouh-wee* That should do it. *We now return you to our daily broadcast of-ksssch* Damm contraption!"
Frustrated, he threw the device into an incinerator chute, thereby ridding himself of another problem to fix. It curious to him as why he had taken up such a task anyway. Suddenly strange sounds begin to fill the bubble, sounds of chaos, fighting, and clashing metals; someone began calling his name, a voice Carlisle found to be soft, comforting but at the same time disturbing and eerie.
[color=#FFFF99]"Lou-is....... oh Lou-is....."
At which the Professor became frightened. As if by magic, a large shadow began to engulf the bright room. The Professor looked up and saw a huge Golden apple falling down. Is this truly real?, the Professor thought. The voice suddenly answered.
[color=#FFFF99]"It can become real if you don't wake up."
Awoke at last, he found himself in his quarters quickly checking if he was alright. Coincidentally an apple was right beside him. His datapad rung and for a moment his thoughts about the strange apple were forgotten.
[color=#FFFFFF]"Doctor..... Van.... Mojo......", he said scratching his slightly unshaven chin.
[color=#FFFFFF]"Hmm.....Maybe its time I meet this.... Doctor."
