Friend downloaded Disco

So he downloaded it and did everything correctly updated it and all now it shows Nothing for ships everything is black he can see engine trails and stuff but nothing else i wish i had screen shots but i don't so um any idea whats wrong?

this is a Fresh copy of FL he just downloaded so no files in it should be corrupt

You mean, everything is there but he can't see the hull?

Tell him to delete everything and install a second time. If still an issue, check his version of DirectX

Yes, 4.86 *HAS* to be installed on a new install of FL for it to to work, you can NOT install to an existing version of 4.85.

Also, follow those instructions that Marburg posted, it's the only surefire way I know of getting a properly working 4.86.

When I say everything I mean FL ONLY! DO NOT WIPE YOUR HARD DRIVE AND BLAME ME FOR IT.

Find where it is, delete the folder, start again. Marburg gave you a great link, follow it.
