I know we've had our differences but the other day I met a member of the Consortium in Baffin. Perhaps you remember them? They are ID'd as Golden Chrysanthemums and fly with at /CS/ tag. They are no longer led by Iron Watsas and are re-building.

They have requested goods at Ainu and the Battleship Matsuda for ship building and arms. TAZ can bring some but not to the degree that you can. I figured it would be a good business opportunity for us both.
They have also promised not to harass OSI shipping in return. Of course, I don't know what your relations with them are.

Victor, when the conference is over and things calm a bit, I'd like to meet and just talk a bit. I need not tell you why.

We started encountering the Consortium in Okinawa again within the last few months. They've seemed more curious with our jump drive technology than with trying to steal goods from us. While I'd be a fool to pass up a business opportunity I don't think we're in a position where we can guarantee the Consortium much. We'd be able to spare shipments when we can, but nothing concrete or on schedule. Perhaps a meet and greet with whoever is leading the Consortium is in order and yes, we do need to talk.
