Recently several communications attempts were made by this consensus to reach the Gallic Monarchy.
The response was--even allowing for interpretive algorithmic variance--quite unresponsive in content. in fact, it was essentially a non sequitor.
Q'uting capacity was allocated to analyze this anomalous response and a determination was made as to the reason for it.
Given that classified databases, military hardware of advanced design and an offer of shared research--all relating to the Nomad-Wild-- were made and elicited no interest whatsoever, it is the conclusion of this conensus that only the monarchy already having such information and items in it's possession could elicit such a response.
Furthermore, it is calculated by the disjointed nature of the reply that a high probability exists of Nomad-Wild infiltration infecting government authorities has already occurred.
This consensus possesses thoroughly tested apparatus for determining if individuals have been co-opted by alien entities and will make it's plans freely available to all Gallic commercial interests.
Furthermore, we urge you as organizations of value to your government to petition it to have an independent and jointly monitored examination of government, military and corporate officers done as soon as possible.
We further encourage you to begin by testing your own officers and staff.
The testing device, baseline data and assembly/operating instruction will be transmitted to all Gallic corporations shortly--unless the Gallic monarch wishes grant an audience to a representative of this unit and give direct assurances that no such infection has occurred.
Bonjour,
an interesting analysis however you may have missed some essentially human sentiments, such as the King is not bothered, these aliens have yet to present themselves in Gallic space as a problem and are consequently a Sirian problem. Humans are good at proximate threats, more longer term thought is not our forte.
You have already supplied material that we are investigating, if the threat level escalates then they may get more attention and resources aimed at them, at present however we are currently devoting time and money to the Bretonian Problem and peaceful links with Kusari and Rheinland.
We are not sure why you decide upon infection just because you did not receive a perfectly logical machine-like 100% rational response. Remember your interpretation of an "anomalous response" is based upon your viewpoint, a viewpoint that may be missing a vast swathe of human emotios and foibles.
While it is true an infinite number of variable probabilities always exist and human motivations are not as quantified as our own computational processes, we are certain to a statistically reasonable degree that a significant threat of Nomad-Wild interaction is likely.
This is not based solely on your response--that was the object of study. The fact is, this infection was already suspected by us and was already being investigated through external examination.
Contact with Gallic units by us was not coincidental but premeditated by us prior to your communique.
Prior analysis already had indicated that a Nomad-Wild strategy to gain influence in Gallia was almost certainly underway which is what prompted our evaluation.
As a point of logic, a simple, brief, non-invasive examination would dispel doubt for all parties, quash rumors and suspicions and reassert confidence
in the Monarch's humanity. This would prevent external parties from using such negative presumptions to undermine trust in the Gallic house.
Is there a reason such an advantageous action would not be desired other than simply it's minor inconvenience? Certainly the gains from a positive evaluation would greatly outweigh the trivial effort to accomplish them?
The logic of our suspicions is based on human observation that rarely does a party in power ignore any opportunity to gain knowledge of or advantage over an enemy--particularly when it is offered at no cost. It was the lack of this normal human reaction that aroused further suspicion--not a lack of machine-like logic.
Futher, citing "foibles" as a possible reason implies weakness. Certainly this is nor the case and if it is should that not be remedied?
You come here, firing absurd accusations that our Kingdom, the mighty Gallia, is becoming the marionette of an alien race called "Nomads." And these "Wild", whatever they may be. Your wild claim that the highest of our nation is infected? What do you base these accusations on? My soldiers have never met nor seen you.
You are a malfunctioning pile of scrap, and your lies and slander shall not ruin the minds of the People.
As my little sister would say, *coughs*
"Monsieur, please go step on a small Sirian plastic building block toy."
That will be all. Find yourself in my home, in Gallia, or the Taus, and you shall feel the wrath of our nation.
Signed,
Adelaide Roux, Marquise of Orleanais
Grande Marechal of the Royal Navy.
Forgive our naval counterparts. They are as irrational as they are paranoid.... Our kingdom is no longer isolated from the Houses of Sirius. Making us vulnerable to unknown threats. Simply idling awaiting a costly disaster isn't an outcome the people of Gallia look forward to. We know this enemy exists, and should prepare in the event an infestation should arrive or is already present. There is nothing wrong with being cautious messieurs. A timely response is expected. My employees should not be safer traveling aboard than in their own homes.
Bonjour all,
as one of the Premier Gallic shipping companies we must cautiously echo EFL's stance.
Whilst our pilots are well versed in navigating both in war zones to support our fleet, and in more peaceful systems with only the occasional pirate, we would be keen to evaluate whether a new presence has entered the theatres we fly in.
This unit has never entered the Gallic house proper in deference to your law and custom nor has it demonstrated any hostile action towards it. In fact, one of your battleship class vessels was saved by this unit's assistance and on several occasions it protected Gallic shipping from rogue attacks.
No Gallic forces need fear any hostile response from our consensus. We will defend ourselves if attacked directly--but in no way will alter our normal, peaceful behavior.
As to the governmental response:
A result based on quantum probability analysis is no cause for offense--it is simply a quantum algebraic expression. it may be incorrect but the consequential risk is severe enough for proactive response to be merited.
Your failure to do so is not a demonstration of the human "love of country" as it fails to take steps to prevent potential serious threat.
This is not our observation of the quality you refer to as "love".
It is possible it is a mere emotional outburst on the speaker's part--we have no data on the individual so this can not be ascertained. Still, the threat remains.
In analysis:
This consensus has issued warning...this consensus has proposed remedy...this consensus has offered assistance.
Our current interaction with your government is concluded. We are open to future interaction. This consensus and this unit have other options.
