I am pretty much new here except some stalking the forums and playing Discovery in SinglePlayerMode and via LAN and now I wanted to start playing online. I get kicked from all servers though due to bad installation. So... I reinstalled it. Clean Vanilla-Install, new Folder, no registry entries, no remains of other mods [I did not use any other mods anyway].
The installer though tells me that "\Freelancer\DATA\AUDIO\Story_Sounds.ini" did not pass the integrity check. It also did so for the first install, but then again it was for SinglePlay and LAN.
I do own a legal copy of the game so it cannot be due to a corrupt file I downloaded somewhere. Is it because I use the German Version of the game? If so - is there a workaround?
yeah, the german version had problems with 4.86 installer, dunno if that was ever fixed or not
there was a workaround posted, but search isnt working like I want it to and the board was switched recently so google cant find the match either. sorry.

Well... actually... I just... reinstalled... 2 more times... and now it works. Thanks anyway though!
