1. Operational aim

To retrieve blueprints and early stage prototypes of a new modification of hybrid Nomad weapons being developed by the Buro Der Marineintelligenz, which if successful, will allow the Spezialoperationsabteilung to further the development of this prototype in their own R&D facilities.

2. Details

At exactly 0649 hours standard Sirius time this morning, an undercover informant of the Bundschuh movement transmitted a high priority message regarding a top secret Buro Der Marineintelligenz prototype weapon along with its blueprints being scheduled for transfer from their highly fortified installation in Frankfurt system - Schatten Research Facility -, to another installation in Bremen system.

According to the Bundschuh informant, the new piece of weaponry being developed is a new generation of Nomad hybrid guns, more compatible with Rheinland technology, and if the reports are accurate, the convoy - despite being heavily guarded - would still have to fly through open space, which would allow us the opportunity to coordinate an attack and ambush the convoy before they reach the heavily guarded zone around their remote installation in Bremen system.

Despite the interest of Bundschuh party in this operation, they will be unable to contribute any major firepower to the strike team, but in case of any change of plans, their informant will be updating us with the details to allow us to adjust our operational plans accordingly. One major limitation of this operation, however, would be the certainty of the proximity of the BDM convoy being monitored by the long range scanners on Schatten or Munster, which would render a large battlegroup too risky for this operation, as if the Hessian forces are spotted, the convoy would definitely change course and request heavy backup. For this reason, Spezialoperationsabteilung will be employing the Schatten taskforce for this operation.

4. Expected aftermath

Assuming every stage of this operation would be a success, it would allow the Spezialoperationsabteilung R&D division to develop a limited number of these prototypes to assist our forces in their battle against Das Wilde forces deep within the Omega systems.
