To whom it may concern,
My name is Devon Steele, CEO of Steele Industries, subsidiary company under Interspace Commerce of which I am a representative of. I was also a shareholder and founder of Thor Technologies, which you probably are familiar with, they were contracted by the Colonial Government several years ago for a weapon's contract in Tau 44. I'm aware of the change in your government but I do believe you still might have the old government's archives.
That brings me to why I know what I'm about to request. Information on the system classified and known as Omicron Lost, I know for a fact that the Colonial Republic had extensive data on the system as well as the only known planet within its boundaries. Interspace Commerce is interested in the system, and my superiors found it best to see what information we could gain without going there "personally". Thor Technologies did have some data on the system as well since we were involved in the intelligence reconnaissance of the system, however all data I had was lost when the Chairman and CEO Jason Stone disappeared with most of the company assets and went bankrupt.
Any technical data you may give us would be very valuable for our means. Interspace Commerce of course, is ready to negotiate a compensation for any information you may have, repayable in many ways.
Your assumption is correct - we have the information on Planet Moros and the heliosphere it is found in. Exploring and settling far-off worlds is rather a speciality of ours. Attached is the databse entry regarding the solar object:
Crayterian Civilian Database Entry #C-3629 Wrote:Terrain Terrestrial
Diameter 13,753 km
Mass 5.98 x 10e24 kg
Temperature -120°C to -90°C
Escape velocity 10.17 km/sec
At first glance resembling a gas giant, Moros has an opaque, purple-tinted atmosphere composed of argon, xenon and trace amounts of other gases. The planet's surface is rocky, littered with frozen carbon dioxide crystals and some rare alien ruins. Over time, a significant quantity of rocky debris got pulled into the planet's gravity well.
I am not sure what you are interested in the planet for, but we do still have a - currently at minimum power - supply depot in geostationary orbit. If Interspace are willing to provide the funding, and to share any developments in the area, a team of our own could assist you in re-activating it and establishing a more permanent position on the surface. Although not nearly as comfortable as Yuma, there should be a fair number interested. As I said, we have a knack for this kind of thing, and a far-off haven may be what we need for the coming storm.

Mister Anders,
First of all I thank you for the data you sent, this will indeed be helpful in initial construction efforts. And yes that base will come in helpful but I assume you mean "abandoned" when you mean low power, plus the years that have gone by..well, I doubt it's in a fit state, however it can be "refurbished" to suit our needs. Interspace will be funding the necessary credits and resources in order to get the base back in operational status.
Of course, there are things to do before that. Mainly, defenses, I know how dangerous the edge worlds are and Lost is even more so compared to the rest. Other than environmental dangers there is constant presence of Nomads. And for that reason we have contacted The Order and are in talks to solve this problem. Once we have the required defenses in system, we will start the construction of a small supply base in order to help with the reconstruction of the old Colonial base as well infrastructure planetside. But for that I'll be waiting on Order survey teams to complete their analysis first.
Our wealth may open many doors but I would indeed be grateful for a Colonial presence, people that actually know the place and the infrastructure of the station itself in order to assist in it's reconstruction and possible defense. Interspace will be funding the whole operation, you need not worry about the economic side of things.
I'll be in contact soon, have a nice day Mister Anders.

Good day Mister Anders,
Right, as mentioned before, we had contacted the Order and the operation is under way. The Order has locked the system down, everything is in place, Interspace will begin construction of a secondary base to assist in the repair of the main. If you wish you may send the team you had mentioned before, the Order has been notified of your presence.
Construction will begin soon, I expect to be hearing from you Mister Anders, have a nice day.
I understand Director Belka must have sent the Agents out already, as I've had parts of a report on Planet Moros and our supply depot passed onto me. Attached is the relevant data gathered, which along with anything the Order has given you should be enough to set up in the area.
Extract from intelligence report by Agent Sage Wrote:As for our findings, Moros matches up with the database listings as did the location of our old depot. Risking a little more light, I redistributed power from the long-range scanners with Sentry keeping watch. Although the main module has clearly been damaged either by time or alien attack, the storage canisters are still intact. With no further readings able to be taken and not wishing to linger, we made way for the Taus once more.
As the report says, the storage canisters are still fully intact; particularly useful for any (re)construction efforts around the planet.
As the Order know we are involved now, our ships should be able to contribute to these efforts. Unfortunately we do not have the capability (or at least the funding) to fully repair the jumpdrive cores in our fleet or the Zephyrs with intact cores. Until that changes, our Movers will be able to assist conventionally, or perhaps joining your own jump-groups. I would not personally enjoy flying out there repeatedly.

Mister Anders,
Interspace Commerce would be more than happy to assist in the repair and funding of your war vessels' jumping technology, however, I am not at Liberty to make such deals with foreign corporations and groups. My boss however personally took interest into your warships and would like to discuss further relations with your personally.
He will be contacting you on a private channel, I have give him your contact data. Other than that, anything relating to Project Lost may go through this channel.

Mister Anders,
A change of plans, as you probably are aware of. We have decided to secure the system completely first. We have begin construction of Edgepoint Defense Station, it will take a while but significant defenses will be built to ensure the lockdown of the entire system. We've already run into some problems with the "locals" but nothing that couldn't be handled. Edgepoint will serve as a port for repairs until it is fully operational. We have also started the repair of the base in orbit around Moros although things are going slower than expected as you can imagine due to the placement of Edgepoint. However once operational we will return to the original plan and start a station acting as a reconstruction platform. Your vessels have been given docking access to Edgepoint in the meanwhile.
I've heard word of the new base, and that it is going rather well. Some of our agents are already docked there to assist in any... aggressive negotiations you may end up in. Alternatively, they can shoot at aliens rather well.
As for logistics, the Movers aren't quite so suited for long-range hauling. I believe you are mostly using jump technology anyway, and perhaps some repair work on our ships - of course, funded by Interspace - would speed things up. I think it would be best to contact the Military on a separate channel about that though.
In the meantime, our expertise on settling planets and with the supply depot are available when called upon.
