Right, I know there's been a few threads on lag recently but this is more of an intermittent problem.
In conn yesterday, someone drove their GB into the planet (probably didn't want to pay for repairs, fair enough) but at this exact moment, my ship started consistently jittering every second or so. It's a tiny amount but it's enough to throw aim off for me (I was mid-fight) and will not go away until I restart the game.
I wasn't the only one who suffered this I don't think. Thing is, it also happens upon entering systems at random (Tau-23 for example which I do alot on my CL} char). Just wondered if there was any fix or explanation for it? As simple or as complex?
For the record, I have the Swag Pack HD Mod installed but i'm pretty sure it was happening before then. My computer can easily run Freelancer as well.
Apologies if i'm just being stupid and it's not a large problem, just something that I'd like to learn about if anyone's had a similar experience or knows the issue.
You weren't jittering, others got jumpy for you. It's probably due to FPS drops, delete all the graphic mods and turn the detail level to lowest. Check if it still happens, if it does then it's something else.

I may try that later Yber though I did not experience it at all last night and I was on for a fair few hours. Seems to only occur after an event that puts graphic or CPU intensity under pressure. I'll investigate a little more.
I've never flown that far belarusich, a guy that I was PvPing at the same time said he also had this "lag" or whatever it is. FPS drops do seem likely.
Download dxtory and fix your fps limit at 59 fps not 60. Duno it seems the new AMD driver got a problem with fl on 60 fps. Well you could also fix it at 80 or so. As for me both solutions work.

You can modify the projectile effects to reduce the FPS drops too.

Duno if it is the AMD driver. I really dont care. Sometime after i installed the new driver. There was some strange kind of screen lag. The screen froze for some micro seconds every 2-3 seconds. The solutions I mentioned about worked for me.
