The ships were heading for a destination unknown, away from any patrol route, from any prying eyes, lost zoner or villainous bounty hunter. The ships were headed for the far edges of a nebula under the guidance of Forlorn d’Autoine.
After a short period of tranquil, silent time, the squadron stopped. Their visual scanners pickup what appeared to be a blurred, dark Silhouette revealed by the lightning bursts inside the nebula.
It was actually the “Malediction” , Captain Forlorn’s personal Resheph Cruiser, tasked to survey the Omicron Delta while remaining hidden from anything or anyone.
The ship’s moored one by one, as the Resheph’s modest size didn’t allow docking access for them. Still, one by one, each of the most gallant trio found himself on board the elusive ghost.
In a matter of minutes, thirty one would say, the trio, lead by Forlorn himself, as expected considering the vessel they were on was entirely of his ownership, finally arrived at the front of a wide, metallic door covered in a dark blue tint forming a nice contrast with the rest of the colour which covered the inside of the ship, still in dark blue.
With a fast motion of his right hand, Forlorn deactivated the door’s locking mechanism and opened it wide. Still holding his right hand on the door’s hatch, he raised and turned his left hand in a most gallant way as if he invited his two “guests” to enter. Any facial expression was strongly hidden under a full-faced helm designed specially for his exquisite needs.
Once inside the room, the guests were engulfed in a cold spine-shredding darkness. It was obvious that this room wasn’t often used.
Switching a nearby light switch, Forlorn triggered the illumination system which, revealed a cold clinic with a macabre ambient to it. At the other end of the room, there was a row of beds with intriguing mechanisms, right at the side of it a thick board which would resemble a X-ray scanning device.
At the left wall of the room, one would notice a very long row of desks spanning from an end to the other. The desks were covered with strange objects and mechanisms whose purpose would be unknown to the common individual. One would easily notice a set of five syringes resting at the desk closed to the row of beds. Each of them contained a black fluid, one could only guess it was an effective sedative. Perhaps a little bit too “effective”.
On the right side of the chamber, there was nothing but a computer terminal and a lever, a lever which would trigger an alarm and alert the whole crew on the ship.
However macabre and morbid this chamber would look like, it wasn’t a clinic and neither a torture chamber, its one and only purpose was to dissect and analyze infectees. Still, this chamber wasn’t used often and it’s no wonder, considering the main tasks and objectives of the Malediction.
“ Magnifique, non? “ Forlorn asked with a suggestive tone while glaring through his visor at Allan.
The next moment, he clearly wanted to enjoy more freedom in talking with his new “subject” . He had no security measures to fear of, as at this point, Alan could either be a person to trust or a target to kill, nothing else.
That being said, he switched and padded a few locking mechanisms on his helmet, which found themselves at the back of his head. Right afterwards, he slowly took it out and put it on a nearby desk, showing his true face to his new guest, an obvious sign of his “veterancy”

After docking with the obviously unwelcoming vessel, Allan's ship was left in silence while he and the two Order agents were moving forward trough the gloom-tinted corridors.
After walking the short distance and arriving in front of a wide door, Allan began worrying again, uneasy and unsure whether he should be afraid or relieved that it's come to this. Holding his breath for some seconds, he left out a long sigh right after the doors slid open.
Noticing the gesture that the agent made, Allan walked inside, but went suddenly stiff for a moment, as the lights were turned on and he noticed all the "contraptions" around him. His sweat going down his forehead, he turned slowly towards the Order captain and responded. "Eh... I... i'm not really sure."
After blinking shortly, he tried to calm himself down while Charis attempted to help, "whispering" in Allan's mind. "Just calm down... Allan. They haven't hurt us so far, so we might get trough this."
But then, the Order agent took off his helmet and Allan was astonished once more. A cascade of thoughts then blasted trough his head... but Charis remained calm and even more so, intrigued. "Could this be...?" Allan heard. "No, it can't."
Becoming curious himself, Allan whispered with a low, barely possible to hear, tone. "What can't be?"
Oddly enough, this curiosity overcome his anxiety and he managed to pull himself together, after which he spoke in his mind with Charis and decided to leave this conversation for later. What mattered now was to see what the Order agents wanted to do.
Rose entered the Malediction with Forlorn and Allan at her first step the darkness around struck her like a thunderbolt killing any enthusiasm she may had until that point
She tried to calm the unsettling feeling arising inside her by humming a calming melody while on the way to the room
after few moments she saw Allan sweating and acting uneasy she cut the distance between them she whispered to Allan
Dont worry everything is going to be alright
Rose took a brief pause to take a quick glance on the surroundings
Forlorn likes it that wayShe smiled briefly To easen it up I will say my med bay looks a lot more comfy
Later when Forlorn was opening the door she gave another short whisper to Allan
Also dont act stupid when you see his face... You will know what I mean
Forlorn invited them both inside the even more unsettling room filled with many strange tools of medical trade
Even more horrifing was that she knew what each of those was supposed to do and she knew perfectly what was inside the syringes
Few brief moments later Forlorn took his helmet off and showed his face Rose tried to hide any emotion wich came up when she saw that face in real life
and then replied to him
Its enough to work atleast...
You are so deep I cant even see you anymore!

“ Don’t feel so special about it. Not many have the chance to see me before ending up dead “ he said with his raspy voice, suggesting a serious, commanding tone, while tucking his hands behind his back, as a reply meant for Alan’s astonishment.
Re-thinking his reply, Forlorn took a quick glance at the floor expressing a quick smile. It was obviously a joke.
As his view was tilted back at his new guests, Forlorn moved towards the other end of the room, with his heavy black military boots hitting the metallic floor.
“ I will be honest with you, monsieur, there are only two options available for you right now “ his mouth mumbled, synchronizing with the clash between his boots and the floor.
“ You either die, or live bearing a mutual trust between us, et toi “ he said as he finally reached the row of beds, each of them equipped with all sorts of equipment. “ But the former will only happen only if you are infected “ he said, grinning “ So I doubt you have anything to fear of “
Forlorn’s hands started to stroke the various equipment up and down. It was all actually a meticulous gesture trying to figure if this neglect he showed them worn them out. To his fortune, it wasn’t so.
“ That being said, madame, would you notify our guest of how this meticulous operation will flow, s’il vous plait? “ he said towards Rose as he turned away from the equipment he was examining, skimming a gesture with his hands as if he invited both of them.

Right after Forlorn asked her to present the many tools of her trade she stepped towards one of the Chairs and pointed to it
I will need you to sit down here and relax for a minute
She turned towards the table and grabed few things wich were : A probe, Somekind of a Scanner and a Syringe and after that she put them on the tabe near the chair where Allan was supposed to sit down and showed the Syringe to Forlorn
You really have this here? I wont ask how did you get it and I hope I wont have to use it
She put the Syringe on the tabe nearby the probe and took the scanner
So Allan after you will sit down I will have to scan you using this
She pointed in the scanner and activated it after a split secont the scanner started to flash with an bright light
This is the part where it wont hurt so dont be scared
She gave him a warm smile and put the scanner away
In case the scanner shows you are clean we will have to use this probe
She took a strange looking Probe resembling a snake with an extended tail
Dont worry its not an rectal probe You will have to somekind of "Eat" it
She laughed and put the probe nearby the scanner
And if it shows out you are just infected well then
The smile dissapeared from her face as she pointed towards the wall with many sharp object hanging on them
Comon sit down here so we can begin
She said that with her usual smile and calming voice
You are so deep I cant even see you anymore!

After Forlorn's quick explanation, both Allan and Charis remained without words. It was obvious, they were about to go trough one nasty list of lab-tests, and from the looks of it it wasn't going to be pretty.
Noticing Rose quickly intervening and starting to point to the chair, Allan took a long breath, then released a quick sigh, in an attempt to calm himself - though his continuous sweating proved it didn't work.
It took only a few moments, but Rose went trough all the, apparently only the needed, details of whatever procedure was about to go on. Allan then walked slowly towards the chair and sat. Alright... let's get started. I guess... He said, with his usually uneasy tone.
Rose walked over to Allan sitting on the chair with the scanner in her right hand and a small console in her left one
Okay, since you are here set and ready I will start the thing... Dont worry it wont hurt
With these words Rose put the console on the nearby table and punched few commands after few seconds the scanner flashed with even more warm and appealing light
Ah stupid me ! Can you take your top off? This will help with the scanner and I hope you dont have a problem with it?
She helped Allan take his top off without any reaction from Rose
So we can finnaly start the work on you tell Charis everything will be fine will you?
She put on a pair of plastic gloves in the typical way most of doctors do to scare their patients and Laughed
So I will take this scanner now and hover above you it shouldnt hurt and will only last a while
While saying this Rose grabed the scanner and was hovering above Allans chest for estimated 5 minutes
Whew!... Now lets look on the results they should be here in a second
When she finished talking 2 loud beeps could be heard from the console
Hmmmm 90 percent in similarity and above the usual energy readings
She gave Allan a worried look and returned to the console
All the organs are in place no outside tissue has been found seeing this I can say that you are nomad free and everything beside the energy readings is fine for a typical human
She smiled and put the console on the nearby table and turned to Forlorn
So is there anything you wanted to ask our guest before I probe him?
After these words she turned to Allan and said
Or is there anything you want to ask me?
You are so deep I cant even see you anymore!

After taking off his shirt, Allan simply sat there, waiting for the scan to end while he starred at nothing.
Still, in his mind - things weren't as calm. "I'm not sure what will happen... What if they find something that they'll consider dangerous?" He thought. "Such a thing won't happen, don't worry." Charis responded. "And yet what if..." Allan started saying to Charis, right before he heard Rose's statement: "Tell Charis everything will be fine will you?". "He can hear you well enough, you know?" He then replied to her, with a faint smile on his face.
After a few minutes, the scan was over so he sighed in relief, not really paying attention to Rose's notes regarding the energy readings. Still, hearing her last question made him and Charis think a bit, so he asked. "Ehm, wait... You said something about "above the usual energy readings". Charis said it might be expected but... would that be of any help in the long run?
He then looked a bit around the room, while waiting for her response.
“ Proceed with the operations. Questions are reserved afterwards “ said Forlorn, by throwing a quick gesture with his hand which propelled outwards like a blade cutting through air, denying any other attempts at replying or countering to his statement. It was obvious that it was final.
He then slowly walked towards a chair which motionlessly plotted its existence in the darker areas of the room they were in. The chair was faintly dusted, a sign of misuse and absence of any beneficiary who would gladly indulge himself with the comfort it may provide.
The leather embodied chair, covered in a tint of black colour provided Forlorn a good place from where to overseer the entire scenario as it unfolded step by step.
He noticed the visitor muttering some words as the sounds resonated past his lips. Even thought he paid attention to them, he didn’t bothered to answer, he dared leave this privilege to Rose entirely.
The next moment, he leaned on the right side of the chair, he rested his elbow on the side of the chair and positioned his open hand right under his chin, carefully glaring towards the sights to unfold
