0 Cruise speed

Heres a weird bug Iv had a few times, when I activate cruise, as soon as drain kicks in, my speed drops to 0. The cruise engines fire, but I sit still as though Im stuck on an asteroid or something (Im not). If I cancel cruise, normal engines and thrust work fine, but as soon as i activate cruise again, back to 0!

Never have had this happen to me though, so I'm not sure how to fix it.

Powercore drain too great.

I had the same problem when I dropped my shields on a Pelican with an Adv. Transport shield attached.

I thought it might be cruise drain, but how come it only happens sometimes in that case? Is it if you get hit with a pulse weapon while your shields are down or something?

because when EMP's hit the hull, it drains your core and powercore

hence say... a BS EMP hits the hull of a GB, on full core, that EMP would drain everything, even the refire rate for the GB as well. try on a LF VS BS EMP, no core recharge, and every energy based thing goes empty

ive had this happen on a few occasions most of which have gotten me killed.
it seems that logging off and comming back on will fix it

If you activate cruise, hold a strafe button and tap your EK key until you're in cruise...as long as you keep holding strafe you'll barely move.

Maybe you're doing that by accident, who knows. Never happened to me before.
