So yeah, I have a question about it. Does the Salvager have an equipment slit? So it can mount a Hyper space scanner? Wiki says it does not, but I have heard from people that it can. So does it? Can someone screen it just to answer this question for good and proper.

I'm afraid the salvager does not have an equipment slot.
Was actually going to post an answer to this when WildHorse mentioned doing so - it is not.
Heavy transports have the slot but not the core, the Salvager has the core but neither has the slot nor is a heavy. Even if it was heavy, I assume it wouldn't be given a slot for a scanner.
