Ok I'm gonna try and switch over to Opera from Firefox. BUT, I wish to import as many options as possible. I know how to import bookmarks. But I was wondering if there were any Opera equivalents to the following Firefox extensions.
Batchdownload (Allows me to open several windows of any kind and choose to either save them or use them in conjuction with another mass downloading program....extremely useful.) Adblock Plus DownthemAll (Can download all the stuff from link of a page or embedded thing or a current page) Foxlingo (web page Translator) ImageZoom (Pressing both mouse buttons will make an image fit to screen as well as custom resizing i.e. 3 or 3x) Screen Grab (Excellent screenshot capture program take bits or wholes we pages no matter the size) Session Manager (Allows one to keep the sessions from all tabs, windows and previously loaded pages within them.) VideoDownloader (Allows one to download videos from Youtube metacfe etc. to FLV files.) Tab mix plus Can't really remember but still...
Also if there's a way to take the saved "Sessions" from fire fox and put them directly into opera (the files themselves I'm all ears.
Any other means of replacing these means and methods I currently use as well as any other great utilities will be greatly appreciated....
Your going to need to find an opera equivelant of those programs, once its installed.
Shouldn't be that hard. Google is your friend:)
Maybe, if you can't...You will need to find a way to slip stream the programs into the installation, or find a plug-in manager that will support the plugins you wish to switch to the corresponding browser.
Cheers:cool:

You've got it backwards, exile; he's switching TO Opera. That would be a good thing.
Zero, Opera has its own plugin search engine and customization tools embedded into the client; once it's installed, you can hunt down plugins to your heart's content. Honestly, though, you won't even need your download manager anymore: Opera has one built in, which handles both normal downloads and torrents. Opera also automatically saves your session, so that you can always go back to where you left off the next time you open the browser. I currently have 23 tabs, one of which is Discovery. You can also manually save different sessions, which is useful if two separate people are using the browser.
Used to use IE. Now only use that to upload picture's to photobucket. I get an error with Opera for some reason X_X. So, yeah, keep your old browser lying around.
