I am Comandante Mansel Alcantra-Contari of the Lance. Over the past few months, both the Contari Lance and the 101st Ghosts of Razgriz have extended what is improperly viewed as their own authority over our Nacion in a struggle than has shaken Malta to its core and drifted further from our culture and roots as Outcasts.
Let it be known henceforth that the Lance withdraws its support of the Council of Dons. When faced with the imposition of singular leadership over Malta herself, the Lance responded improperly by encouraging the development of the Council to govern limited matters of behalf of Malta. This was a step too far, and while it was done with the hopes of bringing influential families together for the prosperity of the Nación as a whole, it counters our traditions.
To those traditions the Lance shall return. Our devotion is to the Contari Famiglia. For its glory do we fight, for its strength do we distribute the Orange Dream. These are struggles all Outcast families face. Yet this is the way of our culture - families rising, falling, fighting for their distinction. Only by recognizing this can the conflict come to an end between what are merely two of those houses.
The Lance recognizes the Council’s authority to conduct its own affairs independently of the other great families of Malta with the use of its own assets. Navarro Santiago is hereby released from service of the Contari Famigilia to assist his brother, Jax Santiago, in the Council’s affairs and for the glory of their own name.
When Malta is faced with her destruction, the massacre of her mothers, the slaving of her children, and the burning of her harvests, I hope we can put our identities as Contari, Russo, Santini, Mazzigatti, and so forth behind us to counter those threats to all we hold dear. I have faith that understanding our position in this sector will make that possible. Until then, I will see many of you fighting for your own family glory in the Taus, in Bretonia, and beyond while I fight for mine. Independent yet united by blood. I dream of smuggling Cardamine to the far corners of the sector with Maltese who have as many different names as we have craft. Independent yet united by blood. It is to that which we must and will put above all else.
A commendable decision from the representatives of the Contari Lance. I have little else to say besides a hope that with the end of the Council the conflict will die out as well and our people may be reunited, shattering the will of our enemies with a united will to do so rather than turning upon ourselves.
The Russo Family supports this choice. The Council has done nothing for the Maltese people since it was brought back except cause strife and death. The Russo name will fly with the Lance once again, but only to defend our home named Malta. Anyone not willing to defend Malta shall be ignored and forgotten. Empty rocks do nothing for the Maltese people as well. I hope some would learn that.
We do not need a military to defend us. We do not need someone to speak for us. We are Maltese. We are Family. We will unite ourselves when and if the need comes.
<Zero-Eighty-Seven, Kelly.
Contari Lance demand for vital influence within the previous existing government structures of Nacion Maltese, the Lanciers brutal incursion into what has been a permanent embodiment, their ambitious desire to legitimate their illegally deployed Council had taken Nacion as far as to maltese people fighting each other. Caused by Lanciers avarice for power and wealth, denying traditional and properly functioning laws, even replacing those with a set of so called guidelines by their now abandoned institution.
To put that as simple as we are capable of expressing it in a way for you to understand: your greed ruined everything Nacion had in terms of an administrative structure and now you dismiss yourself from the scenery to go your own path leaving the difficulties for others to resolve.
Lanciers had been given the freedom of building Nacion upon their views and reorganizing administrative patterns to display the changes maltese economy and industry have been subject to in recent years. But instead of taking the possibility to shift Nacion Maltese into a new era, your visit on Ishmaels last scene of governance led into anarchy and chaos.>
<Everyone on their own. That is your legacy. You have thrown Nacion centuries back into times before the plutocracy. Your kind and all supporting your view are the viral infection to Nacions ascent truly reflecting what maltese society could have been.>
<May the goddess eradicate your bloodlines.>
<For power. For Ishmael. For the Ghosts.

Kelly.>
This is not the time to re-fight the conflicts and grudges of old, and put simply, they are battles we are no longer willing to fight. It is time to move forward and end this divide. While the Lance appreciates the opportunity to “build the Nación upon their views,” it is improper for us to do so. Power is not simply given. It must be earned by understanding, humility, and forsight. Indeed, it is the development of a plutocracy that has, over time, brought us to this point. As wealth, power, and influence shift to and fro over generations, a focus on centralized governance has forced Maltese to choose sides. As is painfully apparent, most have chosen neither, and there is wisdom in it.
Though the Ghosts may lose faith and hope in the Nación and her people, the Contari Famiglia has not. The strength of Malta’s families has brought her glory and success our predecessors could undoubtedly fail to fathom. Should any of the Nación’s great names choose to look to the Lance for guidance or support, the Lance will respond in kind to the best of its ability. This must be a choice that each family has the ability to exercise freely, not a path predetermined for them. We stand by the Nación, and we refuse to forsake her.
So, the society of the Maltese is now letting go of its swords of inner conflict and attempt to shift back towards the decentralized, aristocratic society, held in grips by the influential families that preceded this conflict...
Admirable, I must say.
However, the dice are cast already.
Malta needs to be brought back, and maintained at its once flourishing level of stability, and do to that, we must all tend to its values and its economical might.
The Oikogéneia tou Koráki is here to offer it's help to that matter, and to the needs of the other maltese families, should anyone ever require of our slavery services. Our service to Malta is the honour of our traditions and talents: slavery.

Is a sick bird, and like all great animals stricken by an internal canker lacks the strength of body and will to maintain the fragile existences of all of its needy young. Lines have been cut, my bretherin."
"You ask for a great family to speak, but my line is the subject of censorship most profane - perhaps it is for the best. On the verge of our oblivion, faced with ghost terrors and indefinite phantoms, we do little but turn our necks to the blade; our own blades, for we require no sharper steel".
"To add to master Sakellarios's decree; the Oikogéneia tou Koráki will continue, indeed, as it has always done; a minuscule raft among a sea of storms. Perhaps that may seem worthless to us all, to Malta, but when that raft lays bloated, inundated and nearly turned turvy by the loadweight of a plethora of protesting souls, then we have our predicament".
"However Malta eventually rights herself, we, the Hellenistic families, will do our utmost to keep the chains of blood, sweat and flesh soaking into the orange fields of the Nacion proper - we will keep the manacles clanking, Malta, that particular you can depend upon us for."

THE SYNDIC LEAGUES
(A co-operative of Rheinland's Shipping Unions, retired from a life of piracy.)
The Adimari family does not own great fields from which to harvest the Orange Dream. We do not possess great trade fleets with which to distribute it, either.
What we do have, are hangars.
Within them, the finest of fighter craft.
And within those, men and women of great discipline, loyal to the Nacion.
They were, however, not trained to betray. They were not trained to murder their own people. To weaken all Maltese.
Their purpose is to fend off the Corsair savages. To show the miners to our south their true place - beneath us.
Our purpose can only be fulfilled if the Maltese people are one. United.
Within unity lies strength.
I, Cipriano Adimari, may have sided with the Lance, but was never in support of this meaningless conflict.
The Adimari family supports the Lance's decision, and asks of the Ghosts to do the same.
