Easy explanation. There are no frogs to eat there so it's worthless to the Gauls Tongue

If not, does Planetform really see any financial benefit in continuing on the project behind enemy lines with no real idea if the investment is worth any future gain? Heck, they abandoned Perth in Edinburgh, so what's on Harris that is worth keeping? If yes, are they just trapped there waiting for a relief force?

Actually they didn't abandon Perth, it was taken away from them.

Also, the base stays in PFI hands, doesn't mean they go on with the terraforming process, they are simply stuck there.

Also they have X-Shuttles and Spatials there: some of the most fearsome civilian ships. They can't strike back, but I can see them easily keeping the Gauls from landing (as long as it's not a full force invasion strike): remember that the X-Shuttle has atmorpheric flight capability: it adds an additional interdiction layer to the planetary defense.

So basically yes, I think it's just the Planetform workers stuck there, but I imagine them valiantly defending the planet as well Big Grin

Well, I guess I'm saying they didn't seem to put up as stiff a resistance, but given the differences in location that's understandable.

So, at this point we're all just assuming they've just been marooned there?

Holman infocard mentions handling refugees fleeing from Gallia, particularly some from Harris. There isn't much of a GRN presence in the system any more (Holman doesn't have a BS on top of it for one thing) and most of the evacuation efforts were focused on Planet Leeds given they had something of the order of hundreds of thousands times as many people to move. I do remember some plans regarding the Planetform employees' evacuation mentioned and forgotten about by BAF.
