Because they were going to check it with a device which is made for checking pressures up to 40 PSI?
And FEs have ~300?

That reminds me of a couple of things from back when I worked at the auto plant. You can have such lovely accidents when dealing with certain things ...
We had a guy going to the cylinder area because he needed a new cylinder for the oxy-acetylene torch he was using. Not a problem - they're stored properly. But when your gloves are a bit greasy and the cylinder then falls over and knocks the head off ... It went through two concrete block walls and ended up out in the middle of the trailer parking lot.
We had a maintenance man repairing or replacing a high pressure hose on top of one of the stamping presses. Something went badly wrong, and the tank he was attaching the hose to decided to pop. Peeled the skin - and muscle - on his arm back like a banana. He was damned lucky not to get killed - as was, he was off work for almost a full year.
As for current job frustrations ... had a customer come in that was just sure that we could give him a bigger discount. All he'd ever purchased before were domestics - GM or Dodge - where they mark their vehicles up tremendously and then can give you huge rebates. Most foreign car makers don't play this game to that extent, and some of them - us included - don't play this game at all. So we only have about 7% mark-up from dealer invoice to MSRP.
Anyway, this guy was a complete jackass to me and my manager, even when we showed him the actual dealer invoice - he was convinced we could mark the car down another $3,000 or so - and he finally left in a huff. He e-mailed our corporate bosses and raised all kinds of stink about it. Fortunately, our general manager already knows our pricing and just said, well, tough noogies. We'll sell you the car at invoice, and if you don't like it, too bad.
What made this really frustrating and annoying was that then the guy contacted me AGAIN about buying a car. Apparently he'd done his research and found out that we were telling him the truth (what a shock - a car dealer that tells the truth!) and came back to buy a car. And then STILL tried to get us to give him free stuff for the privilege of selling him a car at a loss.

I work at McDonalds. I do 2 night shifts a week (friday and saturday) normally starting from about 11pm ish and finish anything up 'til 9am.
Drunks. Just...I can't even. If i'm drunk, I get food and leave. These guys and girls that come in, sure the women might be nice to look at but most of them are just so obnoxious, loud and incredibly rude. I'm pretty sure a lot of people out there are missing the part of the brain that tells them to not be a total arsehole. Oh man i'm so tired of it.
Dealing with morons is a part of work where you're mean to deal with people. I switched a couple of jobs since the Uni and almost all of those where about dealing with various clients of banks, IT companies, etc. Whatever the place I was working in - bank, it company that make soft, it company that make hard - along the normal client folk there always some tards you want to punch in the face a couple of times.
I leave the job if I find there is too many idiots there. That said though my first job was as a teacher of 2-5 year old children - Ever since then I have never wanted children. Way too many of them prove to be little S**ts. I dislike small children on principle now.
when i used to work at an electronics shop (similar name to a holiday resort company), i used to get customers returning stuff that clearly had been used to do its job
eg.
1. some parent brought his spotty teenager son in and wanted to return a laser pen, with the excuse "wasn't fit for intention"......when testing the laser pen, oh...wait...the batteries are flat..nooooo.. its not been used has it!!!, had to give refund
2. the amount of people "returning because it didn't work" are the data transfer cables( cables to transfer data from one comp to another because they too thick to realise they can use their router), which have been tested to work, but out of every 50 sold, 45 would comeback supposedly "not working"
3. parents that came in asking me to think of an idea to build an in car tv/entertainment system,....."2 of them to watch the same film", to put on the back of their seats so their kids "wont get bored"...i turned around and just said "BOOKS"
4. people returning a 20p LED!!!!! YES THOSE CUSTOMERS DO EXIST
it cost them £1 parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!, the looks on their faces when i tried to explain it

Before moving to Oklahoma, I worked at an mom & pop owned electronic store. We'd sell a USB device that you could plug an IDE or SATA HDD into, so you could pull data off of it. And after a while we put up a sign - these will only be returnable if shown to be defective when returned. Otherwise - you bought it.
That cut down on our returns of those items drastically ...
