They aren't. If you just showed up you wouldn't know much about them, I would rather see it opened for time being then set to hostile. And if you did meet them you would probably learn they're trying to save humanity and that they lost home too. Or in the end that they are only waging war on nomads. Give some love to the poor order

You can be disgusted with ethics, and Corsairs would probably see any new race as hostile, so I get the idea. But inRP your aliens couldn't know that corsairs ate each other, contrary to popular name for Corsairs as cannibals is pretty oorp since its well kept secret.
Couple of ides/suggestions - just a thoughts
Maybe friendly with zoners ? They had similar life style and they could get supplies from them ?
Maybe unfriendly with junkers and similar who deal with cardamine which you probably see as something bad ?
Maybe interest in artifacts as gatherers and explorers ?
Maybe hostile to GNR, seeing them as someone who is making people lose homes just as they did ?
Of course you could leave it completely opened as you did, but would like to hear you thoughts how would your faction from your creator point of view react to certain sirius factions ?
Overall, I still love the idea and is one of my favorites for the phantoms spot.

Exactly why I wanted to keep standings neutral across the board in the first place. theres always something that doesnt fit. since its a new faction to sirius completely. it should etch its own standings in the sand.
If I had it my way yes they would be besties with zoners, hostile to nomads, all gallic factions and rheinland house factions. Junkers, Rogues, Outcasts are all on the hot list and neutral with everyone else. But im no balance expert.
