Well, don't take this the wrong way, luke.

For anyone, who has been around from 84s it is sort of a big deal, because already back then the Defiler was a rather interesting thing. The Wilde npcs in Sigma 13 were utterly infamous as they used the Defiler in their default loadouts. Then it was a huge deal, when two defilers were won during an event.


Now mind you, this was the time when the defiler was a 2.00 5000 shield damage rape stick. An order VHF could deshield a cruiser without running out of power.

This new Defiler is nothing more than a glorified debilitator. It's not the utter rape gun the old Wilde NPC's (.84?) and then NPC's in Dundee (.85) used, it's nerfed like mad.

EDIT: Wait... Was it Dundee, or was it Orkney or something? ...Either way, some system on the edge of Bretonia/Gallia.
