A very disturbing Report has crossed our desk from Admiral O’Brian. The Admiral happens to be the Second in Command of the Bretonian Armed Forces and so we cannot take this Report lightly.
It involves a few of your Captains who happened to be in New London some 9 days ago.
Below you will find a few quotes taken from this Report.
Quote:The first incident i came across today was the RTS Berlin and their jump ship "Guardian". Both of which incredibly rude, and had some "trouble" following my orders whilst within Bretonian space. Whilst in New London, i got reports from my officers of the Guardian at Southampton Shipyard and sitting in front of New London. Upon my arrival, i found them ignoring the line of questioning coming from one of our newest Commanders, Miss Heather Pearson. They also seemed to ignore myself at points, not something i am particularly happy about in times of war. So, on count of breaking the terms of a Jump License, namely wandering around the Capital, I made a fine of 6 million credits at the time. The RTS Berlin also decided it was above my orders, deciding to run after told to stop.
Quote:Once they had left, the Captain of the Guardian contacted me, asking for entrance to get new scan coordinates. I promptly denied, after the actions and attitude displayed by himself and his accomplice, telling them that if new coordinates where required, they should ask the Armed Forces Admiralty Board, who would have happily scanned using our specialised scanning vessel.
Quote:My second problem, is Vendetta. The listed scanning vessel for the RS contractors. Just now, Officer Waldorf Salad was on scene as the Vendetta began scanning. I arrived once they had completed their task, and had unfortunately not updated Constable Salad on the conditions i had put in place on the Guardian's Captain, who Vendetta claimed different to himself. My problem here, is two associates of the RS in one day have broken laws of Bretonia, or in Vendettas case, gone against my explicit orders.
Admiral O’Brian, after her encounter with your Captains, was out for blood. She wanted your Licences revoked immediately. Seeing as this is within our Jurisdiction we have decided to give your Company a second chance. Your Company, is skating on very thin ice, and any further infringements of the Regulations governing Jumping or Scanning, by your Captains, you will find that both of your Licences will be revoked immediately.
We, yet again, have adding a link to the Regulations. Please make sure that this is disseminated to all your Captains, so that there will be no further ambiguities.
Please note these very important portions of the Regulations.
For the Jump Ship.
Quote:For each jump, any active BPA or BAF pilots in the area will be informed and inspect the arriving convoy. If none are available, details of all incoming and outgoing cargo will be reported here.
The jumpship itself must move within 10K of its intended jump destination after exiting hyperspace and not move away unless escorted by official Bretonian authorities of sufficient rank (Constable, Lieutenant or higher).
For the Hyperspace Scanning Ship:
Quote:Scanning ships are allowed into Bretonia under BPA or BAF escort (once again, of sufficient rank). Roaming freely without escort is not permitted.
We would ask you to make sure that your Captains understand, that they must obey, explicitly, any and all Lawful Orders given to them by BAF or BPA Officers or, yet again, your Licences will be revoked.
We hope that this Communication will be understood and that we hear of no further incidences regarding your Company.

Guten Tag BPA Representatives.
First off.
No apology can measure how this did not get noticed by our staff til today, but we will address this in a timely manner.
Secondly.
We are already taking steps into the manner, and manners, in which our pilots operate and the principles they run upon. I am personally deaing with this matter myself to make sure that the attitudes in which they use drastically changes.
Third.
Our CEO is currently working upon the problems we are facing with the vessels "Guardian" & "Vendetta". Rest assured that we will be changing things on that matter with a heavy boot in the arse, that way such will not happen again.
Until either our CEO or VP reports on this matter fully, this is the best I can reply for now.
Signed,
Daniel Artura Republican Shipping Senior Advisor

Thank you for your reply. In the last two (2) weeks we have not received any Communications from your CEO or VP on this matter.
In the mean time we have received a Communication from the Captain of the Guardian requesting permission to leave the area of arrival. Until certain requirements have been met we will not even contemplate allowing this request.
We have included the links to the Communications so that you have a record. We wouldn't like it for us to be accused that we haven't kept all Parties informed.
I am very much surprised to have left this transmission unseen. It was an opprobrious moment and we shall be looking not to repeat it as a panorama.
Anyways about the matter you have pointed out, I will have a say that the Captain of Guardian and Vendetta were new to the business of fulfilling deals and contracts and henceforth were not experienced to deal with such matters. But as a matter of fact, they are very much capable now at the present time to not indulge in your house laws prohibition again.
The Captains had been briefed a long time ago and both of them have assured that they won't be repeating such mistakes. Moving to the transport Berlin, well, He was on trial period during that time slot and was not acquainted with all the rules of your space where we do business. He was specifically ordered to fly with an experienced captain but alas, he mistook the captain of Jumpships to be the employees of Republican. I hope this small errors can be overlooked to frame a strong business chassis among ourselves.
The Vessels Guardian and Vendetta are independent military vessels with whom we had contracts and deals that favoured our operations inside territories. RS had ex-relations with them, but they are very much our only choice for the jump operations. So, hope I did provide you with enough explanations as to what went wrong in that scenario and I sincerely believe in you understanding the state of mind and character of the people involved owning to the fact that they were in early recruit stage.
