Ethnic Group: Germanic
Age: 26
Height: 7' 3"
Weight: 178 lbs.
Occupation: Bs| Lieutenant.
Ship(s):
'Nephthys'- Very Heavy Fighter.
Viktor Eduard Dominik, was born Year 794 A.S.
As a young boy he was bullied by the bigger kids in school...
When he was 16 he took a ride from his Home on Augsburg Orbital Colony to New Berlin, to attend Flight School.
After Two long years of study and training, he was 18, and he graduated from Flight School.
As a Graduation gift, his parents bought him a Banshee, Light Fighter, and signed him
up for the Rheinland Police Corps.
With the Income he received from the Rheinland Police, he saved up and after Five
years he decided to drop out and become a Mercenary for Hire, and purchased a Surplus
Wrath, Very Heavy Fighter from one of the Local Battleships, turned Surplus sales
Depot, due to bankruptcy in the Rheinland Military.
One Day, while flying over New Berlin, right after purchasing new components to outfit his Wrath VHF,
Viktor Eduard Dominik was Confronted by an agent of the Rheinland Military,
and told that he is not authorized to fly his Wrath VHF, that it was not a Civilian class vessel,
and that I must land on New Berlin to "return" the Wrath fighter to the military, and that a Falcon would be waiting for me,
And after explaining to the Officer my situation, that I was not a Civilian, but a Mercenary,
And that I won the Wrath at a Surplus auction hosted on a Derelict Battleship,
And needed it for my line of work, he refused to believe it, and opened fire on me.
Narrowly escaping with my life and my ship, I headed towards Liberty, to seek refuge until Rheinland Forces drop pursuit.
Some time later, while hanging around the Junkers at Rochester Base,
because the Liberty Navy denied security clearance for my Rheinland Military Vessel to dock on Manhattan,
a Man approached me, he said he knew about people, and things that go wrong,
just as their lives begin to get good in the places they call home, and he offered me another option:
to return to Rheinland and go to the Frankfurt system, where I would meet the leader of a group of men Called the Bundschuh,
who are in need of many fighter pilots to shoot and kill Rheinland ships,
because the Rheinland Government is corrupted and must be taken down, and that your situation only proves it.
This option sounded better than hanging around a bunch of Americans and their
Degenerate H-Fuel bi-product flavored "Liberty Ales"
and so, I flew out to the Bundschuh of the Frankfurt System, and asked them if I could join their ranks,
and they, like the man on Rochester told me, were in desperate need of new pilots and good ships,
so they were eager to accept me, and ever since, I've been flying missions and killing Rheinland ships for them.
Today, when I returned to Bruschal Base from fending off a Rheinland patrol wing,
they told me they had nothing left for me to do for them,
and one of them referred me to Vogtland Base, in Dresden system, and the Red Hessians.
and so I go to Vogtland, and Surprise, they willingly accept me to their ranks,
I am now enlisted as a Red Hessian, ditching my old Mercenary Career, and Picking up a New ship, the Thor, Red Hessian bomber.
its a very nice ship, all my old guns were able to be fitted to its hull without a problem,
I love these guns, they've saved my life numerous times in the past few months.
One day while flying through Sigma-13, taking money from traders to the benefit of the Hessians, a wing of Wild Valkyries showed up,
I fought them, but these Wilds were much better pilots than any I'd ever seen before...
They destroyed my ship, and tractored in my escape-pod...
I was afraid that this might be the last day I had to live,
or if I was to live, the last day I would have control over my own body.
When suddenly an Order cruiser and its escort wing came through and destroyed the Wilds, and retrieved all the escape pods...
and so now I'm aboard an Order cruiser, I have plenty of credits, but my ship,
The Ship I'd been flying for about a year now, Is gone, gone forever, and never coming back...
I was released from the cargo bay of the Order cruiser when,
after Order technicians ran a scan on the pods and found no sign of nomad infection on my pod.
And they sent me off to the Infirmary to get patched up.
Later, when all my injuries were cleaned and covered up,
A man, dressed in Uniform came and told me that the captain wanted to speak to me...
Something about being a survivor of a nomad attack, apparently...
The Captain of the Cruiser wanted to know what I was doing inside a Wild Valkyrie, and so I told him about the fight,
And how they overpowered my ship and destroyed it, then tractored in the pod.
He was interested by this, apparently because nomads don't usually take prisoners nowadays.
then he started to comment about my losing my ship, he said that its a shame,
But that when they get back to Toledo I could pick up a new Ship from there,
Assuming I was willing to join the Order, to hunt Nomads in Rheinland for them.
Naturally it was better than the alternative of being pushed out of the airlock,
Since they had no use for someone who refused to join them under these conditions.
Having arrived back on Toledo, I picked up a Nephthys, sadly it wasnt a Bomber Class, only a VHF Class Fighter,
Meaning its Power Core wasn't advanced enough to fire the same guns I used to have,
disappointed with that, I decided to use my new status to get to fly /relatively/ safely through the Omicron systems,
And I soon found Omicron Gamma, I had always wanted to see this system, but never once did I attempt to come here before now,
Because I knew it was literally CRAWLING with Corsairs, because It's their Homeworld.
I decided to fly around a while, and spotted Planet Crete, and then went Planet-side to get a drink on the bar,
And ask the locals what there was to see around here, and where I might find a better ship...
That was when one of the military type people came up to me and told me that nearby in an asteroid field
the Corsairs have a shipyard called "Tripoli" and they make really good ships there, if you can afford the construction costs...
This sounded pretty good to me, so I went back to the docking pads to head to space,
When I arrived at Tripoli, I noticed lots of old beat up Cruiser-sized vessels moored outside,
So when I landed I asked the guy there about that, and he said that they're all really old 'Praefect'-Class Cruisers that were soon going to be decommissioned.
I asked if they still functioned, for flight, and combat and such.
he said that they would, but not very well, maybe if someone repaired em they could, but these ones are getting pretty old...
I asked him if there was a chance that I could purchase one...
He said no, but then I told him I had over Sixty Million credits that I could offer for it, he changed his mind...
...Could do with some better pay, I think, and these are just gonna get scrapped anyways,
So sure, if you can afford to be spending *That much* on one of these old things,
Then sure I could sell you one, but eh...
Don't Recommend flying it much before hiring some Technicians to go have a look at it,
To make sure its up to a functional capacity...
And so, I paid Sixty Million credits on this old burned out cruiser...
and then after hiring Technicians to have a look around it and repair all its systems, racked up another bill of about Four Million,
then to outfit it with Weaponry, that cost about Nine Million...
Then, due to the lack of anyone who would be willing to crew the ship for me,
I had to get a Super-computer installed that could operate all the ship's systems,
And get a bundle of Maintenance droids to keep things ship-shape while in flight.
And best of all a Cloaking Device!!
All this was Really adding up... I've now spent Eighty-Seven MILLION credits buying, and setting up this cruiser...
With only about Three or Four Million left in my reserves, I'd better not have any more work to do for this Cruiser,
Otherwise I wont be able to afford Provisions, or even a decent drink over planet-side for that matter...
At least its fully functional now, and I can launch it in a few days, once its fuel reserves are filled,
And all the supplies I'll need are loaded into the Cargo bay...
Now I just need to go find a hotel over on Crete, and spend a few nights there then I'll be ready to go.
...It has been a few months, working out here In the Omega systems trying to find the hidden lair of 'Das Wilde'
The remnants of the huge Nomad-Infested Rheinland Fleet that was scattered as they returned home from Kusari, Defeated...
A threat to all humans in the colonies, they must be found and exterminated...
Who knows what they're up to whenever they're not out killing everything that moves...
Ahhh hell I'll never find these guys out here without a full sized search party...
I think I might go visit Liberty and see if maybe I could convince their Navy to drop Hostilities with The Order,
And stop trying to invade Omicron Minor and Planet Toledo...
....Well, that having failed, utterly, and my ship nearly being blown to dust...
I return to Omicron Minor, and enlist in Black Squadron, the Elite of The Order.
I've been accepted, and am currently a Crewman in their roster.
They allow me to fly my cruiser still, even though I'm not the rank to do so,
but to work up in prestige and rank, I must complete missions in a "Nephthys" Fighter.
I was recently promoted to Lieutenant, and am now authorized to fly a Gunboat class vessel, though I do not wish to at this time...
Also, for various reasons, I came to the conclusion that The Provectus III was no longer the ship for me,
Even though I loved it to death, and wish I still had it, I have had it Decommissioned, in favour of augmenting my supplies,
and sticking to smaller ships to develop skill in flying them, and to improve my Fighter class vessels, as well as have a ship my Rank is allowed to fly.
