Such coordination involves lots of alt tabbing and breaking game immersion. Can someone confirm whether ships stay in a carrier even when logged off?

Been a while since I actually used them but if nothings changed since I have:

Ships will remain docked if the fighter logs off.

Ships will not remain docked if the Capital/Transport/Whatevershiphasthedockingmodule logs off.

SFC| originally had an idea to have shared ships that were permanently docked on capital ships that were used for border patrols so we could quickly get fighter reinforcements and people late to respond to the Skype alert could jump straight in and not have to fly all the way from NY, albeit in a Guardian.
The previous note shot that idea down sadly.
