Operation relief for Leeds : The great Leeds Run

This is to be a open event, started in RP by a relief convoi to Leeds been taken up by T&T as a public relations event : Tinkers Haven has just reached Core 3 and we are officialy opening the Haven Memorial Clinic.
Also SRO ( Sirius Relief Organization ) will have its first convoi, and is still seeking supporters for humanitarian works.

We plan to have a Weekend full of RP for all interested, and have asked Moveit56 ( now in charge of commodity buffs ) for a Buff on Food / Pharma & refugees for the Event.

Paralell to the RP, there will be following competitions :

1. Freighter Class : most Food & Pharmaceuticals to Leeds.
   
2. Liner & Jacht Class ( Transports allowed but not encouraged ) : most Refugees to Texas
   
3. Fighter & GB Class: Escort party ( Merc and Indie escorts, Police ect )
   
4. Fighter & GB Class: Antagonist party ( Gallic ships, Pirates ect

There will be 4 prize money with 100.000.000 cred pots staffed by me,
and if I get the feedback or somebody is willing to donate some,
there could be more ( or bigger ) prizes.

Date on wich the relief convoi will start to Leeds: 20.th of September
We will not fly one single convoi but will try to run the gallic blokade on Leeds several times on this weekend.
There is a seperate skype chat open to all wanting to participate, regardless if they want to fly Convoi, Escort, Pirate or Gallic Blokade Fleet

We do not want to sneak & peek - we want to have some fun interaction : all welcome

Remember : the Leeds resistance camps are only accessible from the sattelite at the back of Leeds, in Gallic territory.
And only freighter class vessles or smaller can land there. So it would need teamwork on the *good* side:
Escorts for protection, Liners or Transports for hauling and Freighters for ferrying the goods and the refugees to- and from Leeds.
All just about 9k from a Gallic Battleship ...
Feel free to complain about stacking refugees in a Transport like frozen fish with your lawful chara !
We appreciate that and fly Liners.
Also : The route passes Gallic Leeds, Bretonia, Magellan or Cortez and Liberty...
lots of ZOI involved and several factions with pro - and contra.

Competition prizes : ( Prizes may be donated to )

1. Most supplies transported to the camps at Leeds ( currently 100.000.000 Sirian Cred. )
   
2. Most refugees transported to Texas ( currently 100.000.000 Sirian Cred. )
   
3. Most worthy Escort ( currently 100.000.000 Sirian Cred. )
   
4. Most feared Pirate / Blokade ship ( currently 100.000.000 Sirian Cred. )

Rules :

• Server rules like engagement rules ect are still active, so is the 2-hour rule.
  >>>The event is active for 2 days, so getting shot in PvP is no event quit : it only means that this specific run is ended and you can come back 2 hours later. If you have several ships registered : I don´t complain , and I would suggest that we all agree that logging in with a different ship is oK for the duration of the event. ( This count´s as players approval concerning Rule 3.2 ).<<<
  (3.2 A player who was killed during a PvP fight in any form, must not enter the system where the fight took place or re-engage the attacker(s) for 2 hours from the time of their destruction, or until this/these ship(s) leave(s) the game.)

• Signing up for the competition is ooC , and an agreement to the rules of the competition. Players must sign up with each ship seperately. All registry is done once per player ( all ships & competitions added, can be edited )
  
• There is no starting money required, but the entry of each player must contain all ships to participate , and state ship class and competition´s side. EDIT : Registry is left open due to low registry
  
• Ship classes allowed for the competition : LF / HF / VHF / SHF / GB / Liner / Freighter / Transport ( no Transport for hauling refugees ! )
  
• A player may use all his registered ships for the competition up to a max of 5 ships per competition, and the kills of all registered fighter ships add up for the Fighter Class competition)
  
• Liner & Freighter ships can both be registered up to a max of 5 ships each, and here the delivery posts add up, too. 1x for Freighter competition, 1x for Liner competition.
  
• Liner & Freighter or Transport ships registered are allowed targets for all antagonists, and all antagonists are allowed targets for all escort ships. This does not override server ID rules but is accepted by all competition members.( ID rule softened but not out of order ; Still : RP, pls )
  
• Escort competition is not decided per kill list count, but by vote of the registered Liner & Freighter or Transport Pilots. Vote can be cast once per run after run is completed ( From Texas to Leeds and back ).
  1 Vote counts for all ships the Player has listed in his escort competition registry.

Proof required :

• For delivery & kill points :Guncam pic ( DSAce LOG can be changed too easily ) of engagement message & kill or of delivery. >>Timestamp needed ! DSAce Logs welcome for easier processing <<
  
• For escort Points : Every Freighter / Transport / Liner can vote 1 Point to an escort per run.
  1 run is defined as the tour from Texas to Leeds and back. Switching ships is allowed but not encouraged .
  
• Point is concerned valid if a convoy pilot screenshots his departure with full cargo of supplies and his arrival with full cargo of refugees max. 2 hours later . >>An arrival more than 2 hours later is invalid <<
  pls send the log / pic completely after the event, not sepperate for each kill / delivery : that will speed up processing
  I will count out win points from 22.09. as fast as possible and post the winners accordingly. Post with point list must be sent between 22.09. and 24.09.
  registry for ships in the competition : you post your kill list or your delivery list with the account you register the ships with. Posts from different Forum accounts will be ignored.
  
• Post is openly in a sepperate Thread I will create late 21.09. ( as we finish the competition )

RP Suggestion :
in RP , Tinkers Haven and SRO have set up a betting and prize competition for Public relations reasons. Knowledge is spread through word of mouth and rumour.
Unnamed and unknown Antagonists ( or some Player if somebody wants to help ) have reacted by setting up a similar bet against the convoi.
( Registry and point count remain largely ooC , but the fact that a bet and some prize moneys are open is known to all *contestants* )

definitively less that hoperd for.
But we had quite a lot of fun ;-)
