Tracker: I came to this idea during yesterday's Liberty Navy Hamburg raid. I was like "How active are capital ships and how many of them are ingame?" So I would like to know activity of LNS-, RNC-, HMS-... in general all indie capitals, some numbers would be really big.


Missiles

Current missile stats
Cruiser missile x Battleship missile
Speed: 140m/s x 200m/s
Damage: 105k-190k x 180k-220k
Refire: 0,1 x 0,05
Ammo: 30 x 20

I think one missile per 20 seconds makes missiles rarely used, or even useless. Literally, cruiser ones are better. I would double (at least) the ammo limit for battleships. Battleships are big so I believe they can have more space for storing missiles.

First missile type: I would just change reload of current missiles to 10 seconds.

Second missile type: Double hull and shield damage of current missiles, added as second missile type with 0,05 refire rate. Also they would have 1,5 times bigger range. So long range, powerfull torpedo.

Those are just some random ideas to be discussed or forgotten. An'shur

I think there was already a tracker that monitored how much of any ships there are, but I don't know what has happened to it.

About missiles, another of their flaws is that they can be easily detonated before they reach their target by a CD. Since you could CD a missile that is fired once in 10 or in 20 seconds with the same ease, I'm for improving their damage, as improving their refire rate would lead closer to a missile spam, something generally disliked in Disco.

Don't forget to mention the lag factor, which often screws with missiles in a manner that's currently out of our control.

Three questions about caps:

1) are gunboats considered caps?

2) where do you register caps?

3) under what conditions must one register a cap?

Gunboats are caps, but they are excluded from the Houses' "no foreign caps" laws.
Each navy should have a registering place on its own forum section.

This, whoever does not register his indy cap is a rogue, a renegade, an outcast and will be shot down.

Edit: Or at least thats how it should be.

It isn't how it is and it is certainly not how it should be. Registering your cap is entirely optional and is meant for your fun, if you like making a story about it or similar.
