Jessica who was sticking with Aelita for every part of the ride she could, quietly watches Doc as he begins his work. Wincing a few times, regretting that she couldn't draw her face away from the operation going on only a little ways from her, it seems she was forcing herself to watch though.
When Doc finally finished, she nods quietly in agreement to his statement afterwards. Mumbling out a quiet thank you as he heads off to get some rest. She'd have to thank him properly when he was feeling energetic again. Slowly moving back to the bandaged form. So the work wasn't finished.. Although any state was better compared to what she used to be.
"He's right.. Even though I promised that i'd let you do what you want, I'm not sure if i'm very willing to let you back into a ship and put yourself at risk again.." She mumbles to the unconscious form. Pulling up a chair nearby, she draws her legs up on the chair with her, merely leaning back slowly. Watching.
Vaelin unlike the others had made the point to remain absent from the operation room or observing the spectacle, purely for the reason that he had been and seen many such things and trusted Doc's capabilities. Vaelin had spent his time writing out a small note for Doc which was left on the table of his child's room. 'Her death was her own doing, do not shoulder the remorse that is not yours to bare. You cannot change the past, you can only progress in the present and only dream of the future.' It was after this that he had moved down to the Docking bay area, preparing a ship that would serve as the ferry for his trip to Honshu.
With the operation drawing to a close, Omega notified Vealin who promptly made his way toward the medical wing, intercepting Doc. Vaelin only gave him a nod in reply, seeing how tired his friend was he did not wish to keep him any longer, especially due to his present problems. He diverted his direction to pick out a order uniform that might fit Stone, many being left overs from the previous crew. Deliberately walking in a audible way, he had hoped this would give Jessica enough to to gain some composure if she wished to adopt such a thing. He set the cloths on the foot of the bed before moving across to look at her vitals as well as what he could see of her work. "How's are you holding up?" He did not need to ask about stone, it was quite evident as toward her state. His gazed turned down on the Snow.
As she is shying out by entering the Anubis she is like a kid just brought into the center of a new world. Silanced, amazed and thought full she does not displaying no sign of Rogue like affiliation, besides hand tattoo which has a Liberty Rogues Logo incorporated. She is sacred and looks around for Vaelin. For the first time in history the Warlady steps into a new world, form the downgrading rogues to the world that the Anubis. There two worlds are separated by a rift of generalization and the means of command. Kalel is still week due to her recent near death experianced occurred with the Army of Emus
Vaelin had waited for Kalel to board his ship, allowing her to gain her bearings. She was watched of course by the surveillance strip along the top of the walls, one of the AI's monitoring her. Upon giving sufficient time for what he believed she might need for composure he exited from the off-shoot room he lingered in. In direct conflict to her he was very well composed and within his element, this was his home after all and her world was one he knew well enough.
"Welcome aboard the Anubis, be thankful you enter through the moorings, there are statues in the docking bay of Anubis, their gaze is always judgmental."
He spoke soft as in truth he was a soft spoken person. He wore simple clothing, track pants with a gun holstered to his each thigh and a knife sheathed at his lower back. He never did share the colors of the order as his clothing was completely black. There small hairline thin scars visible on his hands and arms, marks of prior encounters with malevolent people. He had short cropped hair with a stubble. He beckoned her with his hand.
"I'll show you to your room here, it has enough space and contains adequate entertainment features. Though be warned that any communication in or out are monitored are only sent out given approval, for security reasons."
She was feeling like and outsider. Her extravagant hair color, clothes and her body filled with tattoos. On one arm there can be distinctly saw a Liberty Rogues Emblem along side a dagger, going right through the Logo. She indeed was of an outstanding beauty, but her new home was of a divine simplicity.
*Hello there Vaelin. The Anubis maybe..No it's by far the best place and maybe i will get accustomed to call it home if you would let me stay around here longer. You place is divine. The Simplicity is over the top and you are one of the most amazing, yet secretive man i've ever met. However the fact that your are giving me sanctuary right in your home, where you have lived for i don't even know it's something that made me give you my trust and for me my trust is all i have a sentimental possession so please do not betray my trust*
Her voice was soft, filled with warmth. She realized that this whole ship was under great watch and security would be tough, but she is here not to be a pain and atlas a pain, but she was here for her "Friend". She looked around the corridors with a small but swift reflex, her rogue eye never let her down. This was a beauty of architecture and ship building, needless to say it was a powerfull capital ship, but why would a fugitive need such a ship
*Why would a guy like Vaelin, need such a ship with the fire power and raw power Armour wise* she asked herself.*But i thinks some questions will remain unanswered till a further point*
Gently putting her head in her palm and softly asking Vaelin.
*Vaelin, could you show me my room, but before that can you give me something next to a meal? I haven't eat anything properly in days*
Vaelin motioned for her to follow along, despite her request to be taken to get food he would instead take her to her accommodation. As they walked along their passage was lit by the surveillance strips, they passed through some security access points she’d not have access to before getting into the ‘haven’ part of the ship. He motioned to the pad at the door.
“Place your thumb on the door frame, it will take a DNA sample and then enter in a pin code, this will be your room and the only other person that will have access to it is myself for obvious reasons. You are quite flattering about this.... situation. The simplicity is based on the sole reason that this is a military ship. If I am your idea of an amazing and secretive men, then I can only guess you’ve met people that have over shared and are more prone to selfish pursuits. We have shared a common hardship and for this reason alone is why I allow you onto this vessel and even seek a safe haven here. Just as you ask me to not betray your trust do not betray mine. I would only seek to act against it if given ample reason. “
He gave her time to digest his words. He played with the device mounted on his left forearm arranging for food to be brought to them, unlike most places he did not supply synth paste but instead organic produce which was often kept in a special preservation area. Oxygen and various other things were produced internally via a ‘greenhouse’ that was located in the observation dome of the Osiris where the command bridge use to be. A facility that had previously been moved to a more internal part of the ship.
“There isn’t a rational way I could really put this but between Toledo, which is now destroyed and this place.... its the only two places I felt safe and as to what was my home. This vessel has about as much history within space as I do. I have plans for the future and a person such as me needs something that's quite – durable for the long times ahead. Trust and faith are two things I hardly process and this vessel ensures my freedom at this stage.”
Food would arrive and as it did he would head for the door. It wasn’t a five star meal but it was a full meal at that with purified water to boot. Vaelin sought to give her time to explore the room and its features while he would wait within the ships ‘lounge’.
Slowly taking his words with a harsh tone, yet friendly she decided to let him finish his speach before she jumps in as she does not need to make the one which gave her a new home. His words came with such a passion that amzed her.
'Vaelin, you are amazing man which at this point i owe my life. You see the Rogues are not your guys which you really want to go all on full friendship with, however I am different i was not Rogues born and i tend to be looked like another breed, but since this is my new home i will be willing to use all my connections to make this, our Safe Heaven better in any way i can adress it"
Slowly letting her words sink in her eyes were scanning the man before her. His rugged look was remind her something of the older rogues, but his grace and the way he talked gave him something special
The Avenger would come to land in the Anubis' docking bay with little proble, the entire area was full opperation and as could be seen on a lower level, there was another fighter class vessel being stored here. Largely the facility was poorly lit, casting most of the room in shadow, the only light was trained on the pathway toward the door into the ships interrior. Two Ornate statues flanked the door way, sculptures of Anubis stenly looking out in judgement at any within its purview. Apart from Victor himself, he would find no other souls or even robots to greet him. If he chose to take the path, it would lead him toward the lounge area of the ship that afforded a veiw of the small cluster of planets that were on the starboard side of the vessel. There were no chances to deviate from the provided corse being either blast doors or locked hatchs along the way. In the room sat a man reaching into his mid twenties, which was exceedingly young considering the prize they sat on, all the same. He was dressed in a simple black shirt and pair of pants, his hair block and his eyes an intense and strong vibrant Amber color that looked unnatural.
Victor got out of his ship more carefully than he would have liked to admit. No crew to be found, not a sound to be heard. He liked the quiet, but that didn't mean it didn't scare him at times. He looked around, expecting to see or hear something of note, yet there was nothing save a hall that lead to places unknown. He walked it, coming to a room where a man dwelt, there was nothing remarkable about him, save the amber coloured eyes that gave him a peircing look. ''Greetings to you sir.'' Victor said cautiously, ''We meet at last.''
