I know that there are plans to change the barge, but to a supertransport is not what it should be turned too. Now it really is a slow station you can fly, it is even enjoyable the only problem you have and nerves it sometime gives me are the npc. The ship was meant as a mobile station/factory if you read the infocharts. The 5k transports are op as they are now, the battletransports are in my own eyes even worse. To make even a bigger op transport then 5k with ability to use lanes etc would mean a bigger problem with the so called powertrading.

There is now nothing wrong with the ship, I have been flying it for some time and today I even saw 2 more flying along with me in one in rheinland. The few people who have it are glad to have it, even if some might say it is so slow and not fun to fly, it is a experience THEY have with it. It does not suit their interests.

For some time I have seen interest in a 10k or more cargo sized transport, but if 40k would represent a small base what you want to compare it too with a mini barge? If there would come a 10k transport it should be balanced to be 1/2 the speed a current 5k has. The more the bigger nerf, like a barge is now with 40k cargo space. It is slow and it takes some time and effort, but for me i feel very good when i manage to park a ship somewhere or fly from a to b. Everyone play their own kind of discovery, some like pvp more others hauling with big ships and some with small ships.
