Lords of the Empire,

Star has, as you foresaw, fallen upon hard times, although not from the directions you originally expected. The Hessians have declared against us, and your rogues have, if not actively sided with them, decided to take advantage of the situation.

Note that, among the "heroes" they mention is Frigga, one of the ships that is routinely used for supplying foodstuffs to the Empire. They brag about killing an unarmed bulk hauler that is known in the Empire's space as a food ship.

We ask for your assistance in defending our station. Name your terms, and we shall do our best to meet them.

You unworthy and ignorant mongrels, how dare you forget your place and defy the will of the Empire! Your repeated failures to comply with our captain's demands, and acts of aggression towards us has brought nothing but destruction upon you, yet you continue your pointless struggle nevertheless.

Do you know what I think? We have been too soft on you and you seem to believe the Corsairs are not a force to be feared. I think you need to be taught a lesson, a lesson so awful that you wiill have to start using your brains, a lesson that will scar you for the rest of your meaningless lives.

Kneel before the Corsair Empire and pay tribute to amend for the sin you have commited, otherwise as I mentioned earlier, we will proceed to harsher measures to abolish your defiance.
