Question to admins

You seem to be VERY impatient and this thread is clear proof of it. You are bumping your RP threads when you don´t get reply in like 24 hours (sometimes even less) after posting, and now you are expressing frustration, speaking about useless thread, again after 24 hours after posting it.

I don´t know how long you are around Disco, but common reply time here is 24-72 hours. But sometimes it happens that it take even a week (it shouldn´t, but it happens). You know, people have RL to attend to, including their jobs and/or family/friends. Also, very often your issue is not the only one they have to handle (this is especially related to admins), and sometimes they need to discuss it with someone else thus they need to catch that someone else for example on Skype.

Remember, majority of players (not to mention admins) are not sitting at forums, doing nothing and waiting for messages to reply them instantly. This is still a game, where people are to have fun, not second (and unpaid) job.

So my advice for you:

First of all, i sent you first tranmssion, you replied after more than 72 hours
then you told me that you need time to reply so i bump the transmissions to you after 72 hours pass , and you can check that yourself

Second thing, if you have RL, thats normal, don't all we do ? i have 2 boys and 1 girl , a wife and mother to look after and a sister and 2 shops (pharmacys) and im living in one of the most turbid areas in the world .. i still organize my time and have time to reply and if i dont , i will assign someone to do that for me so i dont become so late...

third thing, with all respect to you laura, this is a question to admins, and if you have any hints you want to tell me, you can pm me next time.... and forth thing and last, this post is labelled to be deleted by mods, so please don't try to fill a cup having a big hole at the bottom ... it will not be full ever.

Right sense I know who is behind that screen, let me me sum it up for you that you don't seem to understand

It takes 30 days because the admins don't want the base to suddenly and inexplicably to die off. We understand, they do to that you got amazing RP for it, thats fine. But whats to say that in 30 days you don't grow bored and sell it or give it away? Each upgrade takes longer and its harder to obtain, thats why once you get them you can be happy for a while.

Heres how I see it. Core upgrades for bases are like playing a game

Core 1: Easy: You can relax, take things slow and try to figure out the game/base as time goes on for 30 days before manning up

Core 2: Medium: The game/admins gives you a harder time to show you got the stuff to keep going with it, it takes longer and is harder to do to prove it.

Core 3: Hard: The admins/game will give it you to hard and fast, you need to keep your game/base up to par before continuing, this is a test of skill/power/will/resourses at this point

Core 4: Impossible: This level of the game and base is meant for those that had endured and struggled to get here deserve this core/level.

Core 5: Hardcore mode: Meant for those with enough RP to keep the damn thing alive

It takes 30 days because, in other words, you need to prove yourself worth of getting such a thing. Admins have lives yes but we can't forget one thing, they have the 'yes/no/maybe' say in the core upgrade and will decide if its worth or not or if it will be deleted.

What your showing is that your not ready for medium or even hard game mode because you don't wait. And ya, I understand that 'your world is hectic' but that does not mean the admins have the same lives as you. Some have school, some even have a family of their own to look after. Replying to something is easy yes.

But to sit down and talk it over with your fellow comrades about something on this scale takes time. Hense why the admins say they do such only (if I recall) once a week and will then decide the following day/week on the next subject. It might be say, CD'dable CD's and tommorrow they might do base upgrades and they might not even come back to base upgrades for a whole 30 days, while their doing more important things
