The following events may be worthy of the Division’s interest irrespective of the fact that they do not concern Samura heavy Industries. The events will be conveyed via the medium of direct chase drone footage donated by the Sisters concerned, in accompaniment of the acquired neural net logs.

On the fourth Standard Siran Day of this terrestrial month, a mixed strike wing of Chrysanthemum heavy fighters, very heavy fighters and medium bombers successfully interdicted a convoy of basic alloy; the propriety of your emergent competitor, ‘Thunderbolt Trading Company’. Our trajectories converged midway between Planet New Tokyo and Shinagawa station, after having successfully interdicting the lane.

Points to note:

- The Thunderbolt Trading Company vessels came with a light escort of two civilian line fighters, one of which was flown by a man claiming to be their head of security. This is rare for vessels traversing New Tokyo, who often exclusively depend on the Kusari State Police for revenue protection.

- There was no clear com hierarchy between transport captains, and the com net was often full post moment of interception. However, they did cohere into an orderly defensive formation post interception.

- The transports were exclusively of Libertonian commission, and all fell under the large-to-supermax cargo divisions, with cargo capacities ranging from 4,300 Sirian standard containers to 5,000 Sirian standard containers. This sophistication of logistics hardware is unexpected from a relatively unknown shipping contractor.

- Their private security contractor proved singularly unwilling to sacrifice himself for the sake of insurance. Apart from innumerable attempts at haggling, the transport captains became compliant rapidly once it became apparent that they were outmanned, outgunned, and outflown.

- That all three transports were intercepted hauling a relatively low value commodity as basic alloy implies that their run was rather short-haul. Sisters Takahashi and Darche succeeded in tracking the convoy up to Roppongi station before rejoining the wider body of Chrysanthemums at the trade lane. Perhaps the Division would be able to make greater sense of this data than we could.

- The traders were compliant when their destination was demanded of them: Okinawa, more specifically: the Gas Mining Guild. It would appear that Thunderbolt have a working relationship of some kind with the masters of the Sigmas. To ensure their trustworthiness, we escorted all TTC| vessels present down into the high orbit of planet Miura before departing them.

- TTC| has offered to negotiate with the Sisterhood, in the format of payments in return for our aid in checking Alliance and Hogosha raids on their convoy. No agreement has been made as of yet since the neuralnet transmission Thunderbolt offered mysteriously never materialised. It is entirely possible that the traders were bluffing for the sake of preserving their own hides – an entirely unnecessary deception, as they had already dumped their commissions. However, if it is discovered that the Trading Company has been wilfully deceiving the Sisterhood, we will take the appropriate countermeasures.

- With an alarming rapidity the KNF arrived en masse only when the traders had successfully been escorted into Okinawan territory. This strongly infers that somebody – most likely one of the traders or an undetected third party – tipped off the KNF. The sisterhood succeeded in nullifying scouting elements ahead of the KNF’s prime response squadron – we did not succeed in directly destroying their primary squadron elements. The fact that the KNF has started to play an extremely active role within the protection of traders within Kusari space is symptomatic of the overall instability of the house – it infers that the police are no longer capable of sufficiently riposting revolutionary cells. This works in our favour – what does not work in our favour is the 50,000,000 credits worth of destroyed Chrysanthemum hardware presently drifting around the Fuji to Honshu trade artery. The battle logs of both events are enclosed.

In resolution, the sisterhood did not engage the transports as there was no requirement to. The traders were compliant to our demands to drop cargo. The KNF, however, were predictably uncompliant in every sense of the phrase.

My sincerest apologies for any perceived "delay" in our response. I must admit I am impressed with the Sisterhood's thoroughness. Why not begin with an arm Interspace Commerce? I've had the opportunity to verify their cargoes and destinations independently, as similar information is readily available to the Division. I'm certain your methods would be more useful on other targets we would be typically unable to track semi-internally. If I am not awed, you now know why. Nevertheless, an impressively accurate attempt.

While I hope you don't find our arrangement uncomfortable, you'll find less enthusiasm for your claims of loss. This is your territory, and I would expect no less than the resistance you encountered. Should you need further "capabilities," we should have a discussion elsewhere.

I suspect news has reached you as quickly as it reached me about the destruction of a storage facility in Okinawa. Perhaps you knew sooner than I, no? If the Sisterhood had any involvement, I would expect such an "event" to be more important that an alloy convoy. We have interests through Interspace close by to the former base's location - I thought we had a discussion about such activities, so I will assume you were not involved.

It seems you've misunderstood me. And in the spirit of brevity, a pissing match is beneficial for neither of us. Suffice it to say, you're detailed information on the Guild is quite useful. Politically, I believe they maintain more influence than you give them credit for, not only in Kusari but elsewhere in the sector. I would recommend repairing what relations you may, but my suggestions remain only that. I am sure the Sisterhood will do as it pleases. I must admit the concept of a partial crippling of H-Fuel production may provide . . . opportunities elsewhere for all involved.

With regard to your ship-restoration efforts, I believe you'll find more useful assistance elsewhere. I would recommend contacting the same subcontractors you've already encountered from Interspace. The Division may assist financially should this be something you ultimately consider.

I should be returning to Oita shortly. Should we cross paths in person, we might find this conversation more productive.
