I've been away for some time focusing on my job and getting a house.. Must have been over a year since i played.. I tried to install and play Disc like a week ago and i saw EVERYTHING was gone.. Which i was sad as all hell because getting back on Disc RP24/7 has been itching in the back of my mind... Thankfully as some sort of internet magic the community suddenly re-appeared.. I was not until last night i got back on and did some digging of why everything was down. Needless to say im grateful everything is still alive.
ANYWHO. back during the time of reunion first release i was playing every day and night, Roleplaying as a mobile scientist/research crew in the border worlds in search for a permanent cure for cardamine dependency.. Or whatever other contraband i could utilize for RP, It was exciting in term of RP because of the fact i carried the contraband which other ships always saw so i was constantly finding myself in RP situations.. The researcher ID was a big part of keeping my RP legit and up to par with the rules...Sadly when i re-made my account i read the researcher ID was removed in 4.87? Whyyyyy!?
My question is how do i go about my RP now? can i still continue my RP with a freelancer ID? Will everything be ruined and will i constantly be killed or blamed for not RPing correctly because i lack the ID? How do i go about this now?
On the Wiki on the player characters page in the "S". I submitted "Sylus Nolia" which was my captain, Of the Oddysseus research team in the ship R.V. Oddysseus..which was a border worlds transport..best RP i ever had on the server..I know it's past 6 months to recover my account, ship and credits... so i'll gladly start over but how do i go about my RP without the researcher ID? that made it offical and other players would react differently just because of the ID, It's something..actually the only thing that i was able to back my RP up with... What do i do?
Hahaha... this was that whole topic that devolved into a chaotic soup after RP was split into RP that like the normal folk do, and "Hardcore RP" which can only be done with this ID...
