Similar to the X-Universe economy. Very interesting, I always liked that kind of economy. Keeps traders on their toes.

Nobody said it was impossible. Folks've positively said it IS possible, because it is. All I can say is ... hope.

It's possibly, but it's work. No one likes doing extra work like that. Plus, balancing the whole thing would be a nightmare.

It is a huge amount of work. Seeing what has gone into getting one done for each version, I can only imagine the amount of work it would take to do it every week.

so its just dynamic based on how much is bought? not bad, but it would be a better idea to have static rotating prices, a lot of work, but it would keep people moving without screwing over the economy.

On Crossfire SWAT mod eceonmy shifts every day. It gets really annoying, because sometimes max run is 10 mil per hour and sometimes is 10 mil per minute...

Yup, annoying as hell. You see mini versions of the Harris prisoner mess. Except they are smuggling ultra profitable things like human organs from Manhattan to Newark for 77profit per unit.

I have to say, I find dynamic economies boring. Besides which, if you have a constantly shifting economy, you'd have to have shifting NPC behaviour, news reports, diplomacy, along with it.
Effectively, for this to be RPable, it'd be like having a new mod release every week.
Igiss' head would inevitably explode.

In fact, if you would couple it only to what is bought/sold after a while all profit will be gone.
