Rheinwehr Patrol Wing: Blattschatten
Rheinwehr Kreuzer - Fils = Captain Max Holzwelle
Rheinwehr Korvette - Eitdorf = Captain Talea Waller
Rheinwehr Korvette - Schladdern = Captain Lars Polaski
Blackbox---
Polaski: Everything is green here.
Holzwelle: This will be an easy ride for us, people.
Waller: Hopefully, I have an appointment on a birthday party.
Holzwelle: That is rather not useful....
Polaski: By the way, we had a small scanner malfunction.
Holzwelle: What do you mean, a small scanner malfunction?
Polaski: Well, we had a few spots on it for a millisecond.
Holzwelle: How many...
Waller: You are an idiot, if you ignore those.
Holzwelle: Be quiet captain, insults are not really helpful..
Waller: But we want to survive this..
Polaski: Strange, it didn't record this..
Holzwelle: Maybe, it was really a malfunction..
Waller: I don't trust a simple malfunction, we should raise the alert to level orange and warm up everything.
Holzwelle: Nein, that is an order. Do not activate your weapons..
Waller: What is it?..WHAT?...Something is de-cloaking in front of us...
Polaski: Holy! Nein, all turrets fire at will. Engine Room, give us speed.
Holzwelle: All units, engage the Nomad Battleship. Gunboats, protect our retreat...
Waller: I knew it, scanner malfunction. Laughable.
Holzwelle: Shut up, and concentrate.
Waller: Jawohl, mein Herr.
Polaski: Holzwelle, dat thing is heading to us with maximum speed.
Holzwelle: Verdammt, right then. Warm up the mortar and missiles. Blow this thing up.
Waller: Heiliges Kanonerohr, why me and why this now.
Holzwelle: Lisa, protect Wallers, gunboat with your bombers and fighter.
Polaski: Energy spike from the target, it is charging something...
Holzwelle: I guess, we will not survive this. Bootsman, turn around and set course directly to the front of this monster. Waller, leave now. That is an order, Lisa make sure she stays alive. Polaski, be at least now useful with your crew and the boat...
Polaski: Aye Aye, Kapitano..
Lisa Mertins: Here is Lisa Mertins, of the Amsel Squadron. Are you really serious captain?..
Holzwelle: We are outnumbered by this behemoth and other nomads...do you think we would stay a chance?...Just make sure, Waller survives.
Lisa Mertins: Jawohl...
Polaski: Why they are attacking us.
Holzwelle: Yes, you understand it right. Full speed, we will ram this beast.
Lisa Mertins: Polaski, what are you doing?..
Polaski: I made a mistake and I want to take the responsibility of this.
Waller: Not like this...
Polaski: Full speed to the Nomads, buy some time.
Lisa Mertins: Polaski, don't...
Polaski: Make sure, Waller reaches the hole.
Waller: Idiot, as always! Don't! Nein!
Polaski: FOR RHEINLAND!
Waller and Lisa together: NEIIIINNNN!
***Lisa, wake up..
Lisa Mertins answers sleepy: Just a minute..
Alex: I don't think that would be a good idea, you had a kind of nightmare.
*Lisa rubs her eyes and shakes her head
Lisa Mertins: What do you mean, I had a nightmare? And..aha...my desk well.
Alex: You shouted a few names, Talea Waller and Polaski...
Lisa Mertins: Sometimes, I wish...a human could turn off his brain...
Alex: I guess, it had something to do with your military time.
Lisa Mertins: Well, ja. But, rather a thing I wanted to forget. Why are you here by the way?...
Alex: Dominik sent us, a message. He said, they found a name. Kevin Stender.
Lisa Mertins: I heard this name, but as far as I know...he was an Ex-Military pilot..
Alex: He said, he somehow connected with Vasura.
Lisa Mertins: Mhh, verdammt my brain isn't working at the moment. First, I need a coffee, a black one, and a shower.
Alex: Also, we picked up a signal by the ambush point. For a second..
Lisa Mertins: They are searching for survivors. Well, Deggert and Dominik are still in Liberty, right?
Alex: Dominik said, he wanted to visit a friend on Manhatten.
Lisa Mertins: He likes to play with the first, but his problem. He is an adult....By the way Alex..Don't tell anyone about this. If someones thinks, I have a war trauma they would probably laugh.
Alex: Don't worry.
Today is a day of hope.
A day of peace for Liberty and Rheinland.
The war is finally over.
Still, the war was bloody.
Many people died.
We should think about this.
We should learn to avoid this.
Don't let it happen again.
*Lisa sighs and turns off the screen
Lisa Mertins: A few years earlier and Liberty wouldn't have trouble with Gallia. Also, we wouldn't have a problem with a missing project.
Gallenstein: Do you really think, this wouldn't have happened without the war?
Lisa Mertins: Nein, but at least...A few years ago, without me.
Gallenstein: Without you, we would have already somewhere a dark hole or exploded planet.
Lisa Mertins: Well, wouldn't be my problem.
*Gallenstein shakes his head
Gallenstein: But, for now we should cut out the "if" or "what would be", don't you agree?
*Lisa turns her seat to the windows
Lisa Mertins: I have a bad feeling right now. By the way, how far is it to the Barrier Station?...
Gallenstein: We are almost there, but Lisa.
Lisa Mertins: Whatever it is...save it for later. I hope my brother see this.
"On Planet Manhatten in the bar "Doc Holiday's Club"
Dominik Mertins: I don't believe this..
Deggert Brown: What?..
Dominik Mertins: The war is finally over, between Rheinland and Liberty...What a joke.
Deggert Brown: Uh, what do you mean with "A Joke"?
Dominik Mertins: You know, since almost 8 years both fought for piece of dirt with ice. Plus, this Nomad technology trash. Also, the usual blah about Power, Money and Might.... They should have stopped this already a few years ago...without trashing Jumpgates and cripple civilians..
Deggert Brown: I guess, you experienced a lot of unwanted situation.
Dominik Mertins: Nice word, for murdering civilians, by the way on both side. Hey, bartender one drink more..
Liberty Ale is perfect for a cheap hangover.
Deggert Brown: Didn't we want to gather information here?
Dominik Mertins: We will do it, after my...uhm whatever Liberty Ale. What do you drink, now?...
Deggert Brown: Just water, at least one should have a clear mind, don't you think so?..
Dominik Mertins: Whatever. Ah thanks for the drink...Heilige..this stuff is bad..
Deggert Brown: Uh Oh, we got company...
*A stranger which looks like a gorilla comes to Dominik and Deggert with his friend
Stranger: Hey, are you a Rhinelander?
Dominik Mertins: Net. Deggert, do you think I'm a Rhinelander?..
Deggert Brown: Depends, if you drink Rhineland beer and eat Strudel. Then I would say yes..
Dominik Mertins: Look darling, I'm here to drink your so called Liberty Ale...by the way it is disgusting as hell but still good enough to get drunk...
*Stranger punches Dominiks glass out of his hand
Dominik Mertins: Look, I know I'm a bit drunken..right now. But, before you hit me I'll just name one word.
Deggert Brown: Dominik, that is not really healthy...
Dominik Mertins: I have better thing for you...Instead of a word...a sentence would fit perfect...*cough*
Wanna now, with your face. You should...
*A Liberty Navy Soldier goes between the stranger and Dominik
Navy Soldier: Hey guys, just want to inform you...this Rhinelander worked for the Mandelorians Mercaneries. Even in his drunken state, he would just punch your lights out without hesitation...Ergo, it would be nice if you leave him alone mister. Also, You don't want to land in the jail or not?..
*Strangers points directly on Dominik
Stranger: I hope, we will not meet again...or you will regret it...lets go.
*Stranger walks away with his gang
Deggert Brown: Phew, holy hell. That was close. Who are you?
Navy Soldier: Max Klinger, nice to meet you...
Deggert Brown: Deggert Brown..
Dominik Mertins: Klinger, you are slow..
Max Klinger: You're welcome...by the way. That was Jericho Montana, the leader of the "Bear Gang".
Deggert Brown: Klinger, somehow I know you.
Max Klinger: Don't think so, I'm just a Freighter Pilot of the Navy...Dominik are you still able to walk?
Dominik Mertins: I'm maybe drunken a bit, but still able to stay on my own foot.
Max Klinger: Good, lets go to my apartment then.
Deggert Brown: Oh man.
*All three leave the bar and head to apartment of Klinger. In the front of a tall building.
Deggert Brown: Didn't know, a Navy Pilot could effort something like this..
Max Klinger: I'll explain it later..
*The group enter the building and use the elevator
Floor 57
*Klinger opens the door of his apartment
Max Klinger: Welcome in my little empire..
Dominik Mertins: You must excuse me, the Liberty Ale is coming back but reversed.
Max Klinger: Around the corner..
Deggert Brown: How do you know him?
Max Klinger: First time? Well, it was in Bering on the Freeport. Later, when he worked as a Mercenary we met again..He was my escort to Planet LA...
*Dominik vomits in the toilet
Deggert Brown: Well, he said you gambled sometimes together.
Max Klinger: Yes, in the Bar "Van Pelt". To be honest, he sucks..but still we had a good time..
Deggert Brown: and now I have a serious question.
Max Klinger: What do you mean with serious question?
Deggert Brown: Did you hear the name Vasura somewhere?
Max Klinger: Not really...
*Dominik comes out of the toilet
Dominik Mertins: I'll never touch this Ale again..it is like poison..with the only difference. By poison, I would die but with this, you can only suffer..
Max Klinger: Don't worry, I have a few pills for this.
Deggert Brown: Dominik, it looks like we are here for nothing. He knows nothing about Vasura and Gründer.
*Max raises his eyebrow
Max Klinger: Did you say, Gründer? I mean, Gründer Industries?
Deggert Brown: Yes, we are here to get information about this company.
Max Klinger: I know, only one mission..We had to intercept one convoy of them. The orders were rather stranger, don't attack the freighter...but the convoy never showed up and we hadn't a chance..
Deggert Brown: That is all?
Max Klinger: That is all, but I can investigate a bit in this matter..my uncle works as a lawyer..yes that is reason for this apartment. It was his birthday present. Anyway...
Dominik Mertins: If you excuse me, I'll take some fresh...
Deggert Brown: Go for it, Can we stay here for a night.
Max Klinger: Sure thing..
Deggert Brown: Thanks..
William Riser: Hey, Charlie. Rhineland is not at war with Liberty anymore. They signed a peace treaty, with the goal for a better future...laughable.
Charlie Seifert: At least something happened in this forsaken universe, during our little vacation here.
William Riser: Hey, did you expect we would solve this in only a few hours?
Charlie Seifert: Not really, but at least a trace of those dumbie, would be helpful.
William Riser: We have one..
Charlie Seifert: Ye, from a bartender with a face like a monkey on drugs...
William: Riser: At least, it is something which we can work...
Charlie Seifert: Oh, something I remember. Our guest, will be here in a few minutes.
William Riser: Guests?..What kind of guests?
Charlie Seifert: Our Boss, you nugget...
William Riser: Jeez, I don't really like this.
*A man appears on the screen in front of William
Man: Sir, a man want to speak you..
William Riser: Let him come in..I need to tell him, something.
Charlie Seifert: A little advice, insulting him wouldn't be a good idea.
William Riser: Yes, I know. But, still I have the hope we could get rid of him.
Charlie Seifert: A powerful man, like him...never.
*A tall man, mid age with black hair and beard enters William quarter
Man: Greetings, Mister Riser and Seifert.
William Riser: Aha, our Golden Molugen entered our holy area...
Charlie Seifert: He isn't really used to manners...
*Charlies stands up from his chair
Charlie Seifert: Here Mister, a chair for you.
Man: Thank you. My presence will be short. I'm here, because our plan is going smoothly. The only issue we have is Gallenstein right now. We fear with the help of some strangers he could stop or even destroy our operation...
William Riser: Well, we already on following a trace which lead us to this mad system...
Man: Coronado, one of the trash places in Sirius. I just wanted to remind you, the keep up with the contract and full fill it.
Charlie Seifert: and because of this you are here? Don't fool us.
Man: There is another thing. We saw a few days ago, a Liberty Assault Battlecruiser in front of L.A. My contact thinks, the Battlecruiser will head to Coronado and search you.
Charlie Seifert: Mhh..
William Riser: He must go here, only a for a small patrol. If he would aim only for us, that would show us someone on my ship is a traitor...
Man: That is all I had to say. It is a friendly warning and also..I should tell you, to hurry. We want to proceed with our preparation as soon as possible.
William Riser: We will try, but let us work without pressure.
Man: You know, we have a strict timetable and any delay is a risk to our operation.
William Riser: Right...
Man: So now, excuse me. I have to go now. See you soon.
William Riser: Good Bye...
*The stranger stands up and walks out of the room
Charlie Seifert: Jeez. finding this old geezer isn't easy..You look worried...
William Riser: The word strangers came in my mind, he said someone would help him...
Charlie Seifert: Who exactly?..
William Riser: Hey, do I look like a green man from planet Greenburgh?...The problem, or rather my fear is...those people who help Gallenstein could be someone...
Charlie Seifert: Yes?...I'm still listening.
*Williams is shocked. Is it is maybe possible?..
Charlie Seifert: Hey, bear nose. What is going on now?..
William Riser: I fear, we are against my past...
Charlie Seifert: What? Your past? Are you kidding me? Come on, you know you cannot fool me that easily...
William Riser: I'm serious, I know only a handful people who can ambush with such a precision..and I know only two with ships using plasma engines...and if they didn't change the
engines then...Holy...
Charlie Seifert: A name would be good..
William Riser: Lisa Mertins..Rhinerlander..Ex Military Soldier with a rather interesting past...Jeez, damnit..She is really good, and Coronado System is close to everything. We got a real problem if she is really the caretaker of Gallenstein, with her stupid brother. Both are experienced in pretty much every situation...Lisa is a good captain and her brother is a good bomber and SHF Pilot...
Charlie Seifert: Great, but you didn't tell me...
William Riser: The only thing I can tell you..it will be hard to get Gallenstein..
Charlie Seifert: We have still the Barrier Station.
William Riser: and a Battlecruiser with Mortars closing in...Not much time is left.
Charlie Seifert: What are you up to?
William Riser: I have an idea. I bet they are hiding somewhere...Yes I know sounds stupid...but I didn't tell where..The cloud..We will intercept them if they head to the planet with radiation.
Charlie Seiftert: Getting close to Camp Lister. Anyway.
William Riser: Lets prepare..It will be hard and we can hide there for a short time because the Liberty Assault Battlecruiser will only check out the cloud.
*Charlie nods, and turns around to leave the room
*William speak to himself*
William Riser: Lisa, so we meet again...but what are you up to? Playing the Holy Angel, wasn't your thing...
Other Systems:
Rein-Cruise-Disruptor
Counter Measure System "Argon"
Armored Level 6 - Reinforced with Platoy Alloy
Archelon, was one a destroyer of the second series. Build by the Outer Sanctum and sold to Lane Hackers.
It performed only a few tasks by the Hackers, mainly protecting the Stations and guarding high value convoys in the borderlands. Archelon only participated only in a few real Capital Ship battles.
Later, the Destroyer was taken over by William Riser. A stubborn pirate and Hacker. He turned the ship into a weapon for his own cause and modified it a lot..include stolen weapon system from Grunder Industries.
He provoked a lot groups with the ships, include the Neon Terran Front which was stationed in Kansas.
During a skirmish, Riser leaded the Archelon too close to a planet. The Archelon dived into the atmosphere and was almost burned down, but it bounced from the atmosphere. Still, the Archelon was heavily damaged and Riser abandoned the Archelon.
One year later, he came back and found it again. He reactivated the ship and repaired it in a dark matter cloud in Kansas. He changed the transponder to Outcasts, and also joined their ranks.
Now, he is performing a few jobs for the Outcasts to ensure the Cardamine and Slave Trade..but still.
A few rumors, spread around him..He sold himself to unknown group...
Far away from the Conorado center in a small ship behind the nebula of the Barrier Cloud.
In a small control room aboard a ship.
Man: Hey, Professor. How far are you with the project?
Prof: We are good to go for a trial.
Man: Do you think, this stuff is stable enough? I don't want to die here, far away from a good wine and a beautiful woman.
Prof: Don't worry, everything is prepared in case of an accident. We will launch a drone and move to a secure position, then we will release it.
Man: You know, this weapon killed a few hundred people.
Prof: Yes Yes, I know. Seriously, just shut up and watch it...
Man: No, my clients payed for this stunt a lot of credits and also, the LSF, Colonials and other curios creatures lurk in this system. I don't want to get caught with this thing.
Prof: Jeez..Hey, Wapson. Prepare the Romeo protocol. Mhh, looks like everything is stable and ready.
*The professors, hands move over the console and hits a few buttons
Prof: By the way, I would like to know..
Man: What?
Prof: Well, what is the purpose of this? The weapon is really mighty, but you know...it is also dangerous..and really hard to carry around.
Man: It doesn't matter and the purpose...well, how about the peace?...
Prof: With a weapon like this?..That is a stupid idea. I just want to remind you, Cold War is never a way to ensure peace..rather a way for a total destruction...
Man: Still, my clients don't care.
Prof: Well, why do you even work with them? Is the payment, that good?
Man: Greed, just greed. With the payment, which is really high, I'll move to New Tokyo and enjoy the Kusari Culture..
Prof: At least, you don't lie...Wapson? Is it ready?
*A man with a high voice answers*Wapson: Everything is ready.
Prof: Well, then push it out of the airlock.
*The man drums with his fingers on a console
Man: I'm nervous.
Prof: Why? It is a simple test and nobody will detect us here...
Man: Still, if something goes wrong..
Prof: Don't worry.
Wapson: It is out of the airlock now.
Prof: Good. Start the engine and move us to the position..
Man: Those preparations..
Prof: Mhh, a little energy spike in the warhead.
*The man shakes with the head
Man: Hey, why do you say it so calm..
Prof: Because, running around like a headless chicken isn't helpful and if this thing detonates, the only thing you will feel hot and maybe see a white light...
Man: Save it, I don't wanna hear this.
*Profs smiles
Prof: Wapson. Begin the Countdown of the weapon.
Wapson: T-30 Seconds...Begin Countdown now.
Man: Hopefully, we didn't waste all the resources.
Prof: The only problem, we have..is Gallenstein and his crew...
Man: William will get them soon...
Prof: I hope and now, be quiet...
Wapson: T-15 Seconds --------- T-10
Wapson: 9
Wapson: 8
Wapson: 7
Wapson: 6
Wapson: 5
Wapson: 4
Wapson: 3
Wapson: aannddd
Wapson: Missile Launched!
Prof: This will be interesting now. Only 30 Seconds until it detonates.
Man: Are you sure, we are far away enough?
Prof: Ye..
Wapson: 10 Seconds until explosion..
Wapson: 5 Seconds
Wapson: 3, 2, 1
Prof: I would grab something..the shockwave will hard...
Wapson: EXPLOSION!
Man: What?...?!!?!
*The ship shakes violently and a few consoles explode. The glass shatters of control room and the man fall on the ground
Prof: Holy...I didn't expect...
*The shaking slowly vanished
Prof: Hey, are you okay?
*The man lies on the ground and tries to get up
Man: I guess, I broke my hand...Damnit...
Prof: Your tennis match for this week..
*The man holds his right hand
Man: Damnit..
Prof: Wapson, Damage Report!
Wapson: We are damaged, a few sectors have a blackout and the core is damaged...Also, the engine is offline plus weapons..
Prof: I thought, we were far away enough...
Man: You're nuts...
Prof: Ye...But still alive...Wapson..bring two glasses..we must celebrate...
Man: I'm not in mood for celebrating now...
Prof: Your problem, Mister Anderson.
Anderson: You're a moron, Green.
Green: Thanks....
