can someone answer me and help me ?:D
Sure, you can have multiple OCs, i have Win XP and Slax for example....but i had a friend of mine install is, so i cannot guide you through, sadly.
With windows vista, dual booting is a PITA. When you install Vista, there cannot be any other partitions or hard drives or usbs readable by vista. If there are, it will put its boot files on them. This is what I had to do to get mine to tri boot:
Installed Vista on hard drive number one with ONLY hard drive number one installed.
Installed hard drive number 2 and put whatever OS's on it.
done.
To do it on only one hard drive:
Partition the hard drive but only format half.
Install Vista onto the formatted half.
format the other half
Install XP on that half.
Windows has its own version of grub (a boot loader) so when you boot up it will ask you if you want vista or XP.
XP and crappy Vista on one HD is a piece of cake with the use of a decent bootmanager or partion manager.
Please keep in mind that Vista and XP will overwrite the MBR during installation.
So you need to reinstall/enable your bootmanager after installation.
And hide the partitions from each other, this will prevent problems.
Just create two (or three) primary partions and a extended partion with logical drives at your decision.
You can even use the build-in partion program of the windows setup if you are planning a install from scratch.
Or use a partion manager to create additional partions or alter your current setting.
If you have further questions please feel free to sent me a PM.
